Tucked away in a street of karaoke bars and Irish themed pubs is Garfields. Yes it's named after the cat. But it's also my favourite bar in Spain.
It's a rock bar. A tiny rock bar. That do cocktails for about three euros. Ay five in the morning. It's not the best idea to drink them at that time, but you will anyway. This bar just does not shut until you want to leave. So most of the time, you don't.
I lived on the same street as this bar so it became a pretty big part of the nightlife. It's fun, you meet cool people and the bar staff are great. Really hot too. It also feels like you're doing stuff a bit more Spanishy than you usually would in Torremelinos. That's a good thing.
If you do find yourself in the area, take a look. Beofre you know it, you'll be standing on tables and singing Alanis Morrisette songs at four in the morning. Or is that just me? read more
