When it comes to Japanese Yakiniku restaurants, I've got the usual spots I go to, which is most probably why I've never really gotten around to visiting Sakura along Arnaiz Avenue more frequently than I should.
I recently had dinner there only for the second time and wow, did I realize that I was wrong for ignoring the restaurant the way I did in the past.
Sakura actually has the most reasonable prices out of all the Yakiniku places I've been to. Because of that, my party of two got a little bit carried away in ordering but it was a-okay anyway because we were famished.
We got the U.S. Beef Karubi, which was soft and juicy. My favorite was the steak cut bacon which is an absolute must try if you're a bacon lover! I also couldn't get enough of the beef tongue. Also, make sure to watch out for their monthly specials. We were able to enjoy a generous plate of tuna sashimi for only 150 pesos! How's that for a great deal?!
With all that said, I am absolutely going to put in Sakura into my rotation of delicious Yakiniku places to visit. read more
