You grab water pitchers yourself, which is nice because I was extremely parched and didnt want to have to wait. The folks who work here are pretty friendly (I also don't speak French so they could've been calling me an ignorant American and I wouldn't have been the wiser). My food came out pretty quickly and I was pleasantly surprised at how decent the portions are and how good it was! The udon I ordered had just tofu and noodles and it was perfection. I wish I was more hungry and tried the gyoza. Overall good dining experience! The restaurant is actually large, they have an extra dining room downstairs near the bathrooms!

This place caught our eye our first day in Paris as it was near our Air bnb. We ended up having a…read morelovely dinner a few nights later and tried several things on the menu incl. sushi, udon bowl and skewers of meat. Miso soup was hot and delicious and all entrees came out quickly. Great, efficient service and really pleasant atmosphere. Restaurant is small but cozy, probably seats 20+ people. Food was all very fresh and well-prepared and best of all didn't break the budget!

Honestly? We only eat sashimi. I prefer to eat it without, read that correctly, without the soy…read moresauce and wasabi. So the fish has to be fresh. The fish was so fresh that it practically leapt into our mouth. So you can see why we cannot recommend this place--People may find out. lol Is it a tad more expensive than your local Parisian sushi place where the fish is hidden by sauces and other ingredients? Perhaps, but we did not think so. From the sashimi, we ventured out towards the cucumber roll, which had nice heat, and a bunch of other Yummies. No one left the table hungry. Our table of three did share two large Sakes, an individual drink or so, as well as sharing two desserts. The cost came out to about 50 bucks per person, which is pretty dang much comparable to what we would pay in the states with tax and tips included. We did make a reservation through the French app TheFork, which sometimes runs specials for this place, but mostly because you need a reservation since a place can get busy, especially during prime eating hours. It is a small restaurant and don't expect to rush through your meal, but rather a place to enjoy your company while you get fed absolutely yummy at a decent price.

Wow! Just WOW! I stayed at the Gustave around the corner and wanted a late asian dinner…read more By chance found this on Yelp It was deserted, but still very, very friendly and courteous. I had the Tempura of Tuna wrapped in shisso leaf. Incredibly delicate and delicious. After that I enjoyed the mixed tempura with a delightful Ginger-Soy sauce. To top it off I had the Aloe Vera with Yuzu- Jam. Wow, I couldn't finish my drink in fear of washing away the taste of that. It is still in my mouth, hmmmmm A definite MUST go for any asian food lover. This is so unlike the mentioned Chinapanese food we get in Europe. This is the real deal! Do not miss this! I will be back!

Lovely atmosphere and staff…read more Incredibly expensive for extremely little food, however. Two tempura squash blossoms (literally, two pieces), a small appetizer of spinach and mushrooms in a dashi broth, 16 small pieces of sashimi (tuna, yellowtail, salmon) + one beer and tea resulted in a 110 euro tab. Often willing to spend a premium on quality meals, we were quite shocked when reviewing the menu and seeing the pricing of dishes, which are largely pretty basic. At that point we were locked in and couldn't leave our dinner group, so reluctantly chose items that seemed reasonable. 72 euros accounted for the sashimi alone, which anywhere else in the world costs half if not less. Even still, the two pieces of tempura in particular were somehow more bewildering. Yelp reviews don't seem to mean or matter much outside of the U.S. as the most recent one I saw is about 3 years old. Hopefully, this helps anyone else who happens upon my 2025 review.

After being seated upstairs we looked over the menu and decided to start with Miso Soupe, then onto the main course with the Saumon Grill, Black Cod, and Ebi Tendon (Shrimp Tempura). The service was friendly and quick, and since they are Japanese everything was done properly. Highly recommend if you are in the area :-)
