The top review seems to be a self promotion in my eyes, I was originally a customer of the crib but due to unforseen and untold circumstances staff left and my stylist moved and as most women would agree it's hard to find a good stylist that puts you at ease and you know that when your cut and colour is done you will be happy. I have gave saks two tries now and I leave there feeling more flustered then when i went in. At the crib I had time to have a coffee and a read and get ready and have a conversation, where as now it's like come on hurry hurry, I originally thought it was start up pressure but my last 8 week appt was exactly the same, staff talking to each other that they have not had dinner either and I was asked to try the new vibro chairs out but felt after a minute I would be pulled out of it for the next client. I didnt even get to finish my coffee, I wish them look in there future but I have gone back to the crib and this review is not biased in anyway just a little advice of how I felt and for me I ran a business for 17 years and my customers come first. In saks @ lytham I felt I was a burden to being there and in the way. The whole experience of treatments and spars and beauty is to relax the customer not to feel like we are in euston station sorry guys not for me but good luck and I'll miss you and the crib could do with you back after seeing one of the cuts leaving xx read more

I would advise any new customers to specifically request a senior stylist. I made the mistake of booking a stylist and found the standard to be more like a student. My stylist appeared to have very little experience and completely misunderstood my request, even though I didn't want a restyle or new colour, merely a trim and a refresh of my original colour which was done at another salon. My stylist had no supervision during my consultation or whilst choosing my colour which could have prevented the problems I had. To cut a long story short I had to go back to Saks the following day to have my colour corrected but unfortunately I was given the same stylist again and unbelievably still no supervision or advice from a more senior member of staff. To be honest, by this stage I was happy to just get the bright white highlights covered over and leave. My hair is looking a bit better now but the damage done by the bleach will take some time to grow out. The cut wasn't great either. On a more positive note the stylist was very friendly and pleasant, I'm sure in time she will make a great hairdresser. I don't think it's fair for Saks to charge these prices for staff that aren't up to scratch yet as its very misleading. read more

Saks Lytham is open 7 days a week 5 of them a late night which is great for me!! the service was amazing - great atmoshere, great coffee, good selection of magazines + really knowledgable stylists. the salon was buzzing yet relaxing, the chairs you sit in to have your hair washed fully reclined and had a vibro massage option which was gorgeous, luckily one of the Jessica nail technicians was free during my hair appointment too so when my colour was 'cooking' I had a pedicure. I left the salon feeling totally refreshed and feeling fabulous! Thank you to the whole team - i cant wait for my next appointment! read more
