Love the place. Even just to sit and wait I enjoy waiting and listening to their music or checking out what is on the tvs

I enjoy this restaurant. In fact I enjoyed it so much as to confirm this is the Best teriyaki &…read moresushi place in Sunnyside. It's clean and the food is on point. I had the Spicy Pork Bulgogi, and side orders of prawn tempura and the aradage tofu. The servings are reasonably generous and the food is clean and unmuddled. What I mean is things aren't covered with sauces. I plan to come back to try the sushi. I was watching the sushi chef prepare the sushi and I can tell he's got skills. I'm looking forward to that. Sunnyside residents should be proud to know they have one of the best teriyaki and sushi places in Washington state. I'll go out on a limb and say I had the best waitress service experiences in a while. When I got there they were busy! I now understand why. If you're from Sunnyside, WA you should be proud of having this restaurant and also bring your friends and family from out of town because no one will be disappointed. I also have to say service was efficient and attentive. I tipped BIG because they deserve it. We should all tip well if we are treated well. We should show Class, when treated with class, I'd say we should show class, even when not treated well. I say EAT HERE!

I also found out the owner trained under a master sushi chef in Japan for 10 years, and you can definitely tell they care about the quality of the food. I'm originally from Seattle, where there's sushi on what feels like every corner, and Aki Sushi is honestly one of the best sushi and teriyaki spots I've had anywhere in Washington. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

We visited Aki Sushi expecting a simple, decent meal based on the high ratings, but unfortunately…read morethis was one of the worst dining experiences we've had in the Tri-Cities. Service was disorganized from the start. My wife requested water with no ice, but we were immediately brought a glass full of ice by a different server who wasn't even assigned to our table. From there, communication between staff appeared completely disjointed. The food was equally disappointing. I ordered spicy chicken teriyaki and received what was essentially plain grilled chicken with almost no sauce--nothing resembling a proper teriyaki dish. We also attempted to order nigiri, but were told the server needed to check with the chef. No one ever came back to follow up, and we were never given the opportunity to order sushi at all. Throughout the meal, no one checked on us, asked how the food was, or tried to correct anything. The only acknowledgment we received was a brief apology when they brought the check, mentioning we weren't able to try any fish--which was exactly what we had been waiting for. The overall experience felt inattentive and poorly managed, and the lack of follow-through made it especially frustrating. Based on this visit, we won't be returning.

"Fuji" it was pretty close to where I'm staying at so I decided to go there. I was greeted by a nice woman who was wearing hypebeast clothing! That was lit, and the rest of the employees was wearing the uniform so I'm guessing she is the owner or something! I vane on dinner time which started at 4pm. They have snow crab leg, dungeon crab leg, Mongolian grill, conveyor belt sushi, and whole bunch of goodies. I'm like they have conveyor sushi that is a catch lol. I think it's unique. The food were good. Some of the dishes weren't my fav but I mean it's a buffet. There are always a hit & miss. I'm general most of the stuff I put on my plate were tasty. Not gonna lie that this place the cost of the buffet is only $24. If this buffet were open at other side of town. The price nowadays over there in Seattle is like $35-40 per person! Will I come back here in the future if I'm ever in Yakima?! The answer will be yep! Overall, good service and good food makes my tummy happy!
