Her home salon is perfect and you'll feel really comfortable. If you have extremely curly hair she will tell you exactly what will happen. First of all, the results have been amazing. Every time I see regrowth, there are fewer and fewer hairs. The process really works. I'm looking forward to having a totally hair-free upper lip! The standards of hygiene and cleanliness are obviously very high, and the office is a pleasant environment, with what seems to me to be very advanced equipment. They use a kind of magnifying scope thing so they can really focus in on each hair. The price is very reasonable. I had always assumed that electrolysis was very expensive, but that's not the case. They were able to tell me the price per session over the phone before I came for my initial assessment, and have been very upfront about how many sessions I'm likely to need as my treatment has progressed. As someone on a student budget, I really appreciate that. The electrologist I see, Caren, is unbelievably kind and friendly (she's so great, I actually look forward to my treatments!), and incredibly skilled. She gets every single hair, and even though I have a really low pain threshold, she manages to make the process as comfortable as possible. It's really not painful, it just stings a tiny bit. I would recommend Hairender to anyone and everyone who struggles with unwanted hair. I used to have to wax my upper lip really frequently, and I would have to pluck my regrowth literally every day, and even then, the new hairs would often be visible under the surface of my skin. It is very simple making appointments via their website and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for service. The salon is very clean and decorated with chic decor. Paired with the relaxing music they play and the fashion shows running on the TVs, it results in a very elegant and calming ambience. I am usually asked by the staff if I would like a drink or snack multiple times throughout my visits. Tina always asks what I want or what my hair concerns are and works around that. She is very friendly and a great conversationalist, but also knows when to let the conversation die down and doesn't force it to continue. You can tell by the way she works that she is very good at what she does and is very efficient. All in all, after struggling to find a salon I was fully satisfied with and can stay loyal to, I am very happy to have found Tony Shama's and plan to continue coming here.
