Discover Montessori, where my daughter currently attends, has a few openings (2-3 spots for…read morethree-day programs). As a self-proclaimed picky mom with high standards, I can honestly say this school has exceeded my expectations. When I drop my daughter off, it doesn't feel like I'm leaving her at a daycare--it feels more like she's spending the day at a loving grandma's house. The teachers are incredibly kind, diverse, and attentive. Every week they create enriching activities like gym, science, music, Spanish, art, and crafts. They celebrate holidays, embrace diversity and inclusion, and bring so much creativity into the classroom. The spacious backyard is another highlight--kids spend plenty of time outdoors, playing, exploring, and enjoying fresh air every day. What I love most is the sense of community--parents are engaged, educated, and involved in participation programs. We felt so supported that even though my daughter was accepted into two TK programs, we chose to keep her here for another year. If you're looking for a nurturing, joyful, and inspiring place for your little one, I can't recommend Discover Montessori enough!

The outdoor space is amazing and I've been so impressed with all that my kids have learned even though they only ever feel like they are playing and having fun. The teachers, director, and staff are consistent and kind- with much more patience than I can imagine! They are well trained and the curriculum is super engaging. Parent communication is great and any questions I have get responded to very quickly. The location is so convenient, hours are great, and pricing is comparable with other preschools/childcare.

We experienced a lot of turnover at a previous school while our son was on the LMP waitlist, but now we know exactly who will be there and that he'll be well cared for and loved each day. It's not uncommon during a weekend adventure for our son to ask to share something he's doing with a teacher. He looks at his teachers like family and is always excited to get back to school each Monday. The activities and curriculum are great as well. Weekly themes tie the art, science, and dramatic play together. The activities are creative and exciting for the kids, and he always comes home wanting to learn more. Covid has presented many childcare challenges, and LMP has navigated the pandemic incredibly well. They have been clear on protocols, communicated well, and we've always felt that our son will be as safe as he possibly could be at a preschool. We appreciate how seriously they have handled the health and safety of our child over the past 2 years. We can't recommend LMP enough and will miss it when he moves to Kindergarten this summer. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Haley and her wonderful staff!

The teachers are absolutely awesome, kind and fun and put in so much effort for the children. Our son is often talking about seeing his teachers again the next day. It's worth every penny in my opinion. I often see them cleaning and mopping. They are very accommodating and have several events and outings throughout the year. Most recently they did a "trunk or treat" for Halloween which was absolutely amazing, the teachers made such a huge effort with their trunks it was just the most delightful thing - and so many people came out. Great vibes all round.

Did a drop in visit and I cannot recommend this place due to the appearance. Small house- good student to teacher ratio. Play space for kids age 2 was like the size of my kitchen. The older group had a good instruction area with the teacher. But the place was just dirty and had a lot of stuff all over along the walls taking up walk space. Backyard was so cool! But- 100% dirt and I can imagine the grime my son would come home with. (Dirt angels wears my vision). Lots of cool animals. Personal hygiene is important to me and I'll leave it at that... employees seemed nice- kids well-behaved. Front yard - beautiful but the fence was so low that anyone walking by could pick a kid and run. I mentioned this and she said- we're only out here if not raining and for the last hour of the day for pick up. Eek- it only takes a second! Safety- cleanliness do not meet my expectations. Never enrolled Many great reviews! Just not for me

This is our fourth year at Brookfield, and I'll be honest, we did consider leaving at one point…read more When our son first started kindergarten, we felt there was a lack of community, and that was something we really wanted for our family. After many conversations with my husband, we began to ask ourselves: Why leave a school we love so much, especially when we believe so strongly in the quality of its education and love the smaller class sizes? Instead, we said to ourselves, why not be part of building the community we hoped to find? Why not be the change we wanted to see? I'm so happy to say that today, while we continue to value the education Brookfield provides, what makes this school truly special to us is the community we've found here. It's the friendships we've built, the wonderful families we've met, and the amazing kids who have become such a meaningful part of our lives. What started as something we felt was missing has become one of the biggest reasons we're grateful to be here. Although there have been several staffing changes in the short time we've been here, they have been positive. The new team members have played a key role in strengthening the community and creating more opportunities for families to connect through activities and events. We're so glad we chose to stay and be part of creating the community we wanted for our family. Having sports available at the school now, along with Brookfield's involvement in PAL sports, is an added bonus! It provides even more opportunities for our kids to grow, connect, build friendships, and be part of something bigger than themselves. Ultimately, it's these relationships, experiences, and sense of belonging that have made Brookfield feel like so much more than just a school for our family.

Let's start with the good--small classes, some strong teachers, and a good community where my kiddo…read moremade friends. But we have to be honest with the downsides. Since ISP took over and Dr. Jo left, the school has changed. My sense is they will take any child who can pay. There is also less accountability when there are behavioral issues and the school does not feel like a safe place to send a child any longer. Kids are getting hurt, and there is inappropriate conduct. The teacher professionalism and turnover is an issue especially given the price of the school. They've hired some folks who don't have experience or a credential. And folks have left mid-year which is really hard on the kids. The school bills itself as accelerated--sometimes this ended up as a positive, but other times it felt too fast and mastery was lost in the process. I also think parents should know that some of these reviews were incentivized by the administration. I think the real picture is more of a mixed one.
