When you find some of the produce on your list isn't on the shelf there must be something wrong. I often find an empty gap where something I need should be when the rest of the shop is fully stocked. The other problem I have been seeing is a well known brand of something being missing entirely, replaced by an own brand product they are hoping you will grab instead. I don't like to feel a companies computer system is dictating to me what I should buy, I usually just grab the basics these days. read more

Huge Sainsbury's (used to be a Sainsbury's Savacentre) located just off the M25 at London Colney. Loads of parking, as well as a Petrol garage and a good selection of items within. The Centre also contains a large Marks and Spencers next door. read more

As far as supermarkets go this is among the best.if you like enormous warehouses of food and cheap clothing and items for the home. The bakery has its own machine where you can enter a photo to be put in icing on top of a cake which might be interesting but sadly it didn't work the few times I tried it. You really can get just about anything you could want food wise, there's a pharmacy section and all the usual humungous supermarket paraphernalia. The parking outside is also very large but on a Saturday you can expect it to be very busy. Next door to Sainsburys is a very large Marks and Spencer which also has food. In the same shopping compound there are: Next, Monsoon, Boots, Borders, a sports shop. It's a pretty good place to go for all round shopping. read more

Very large sainsburys sells clothes, toys, food, and loads more. The shelves are often a bit empty at night but it is so quiet so I dont mind! read more
