It's quite small but sensibly laid out and sells a decent range of M&S foodstuffs - bread, cakes, fresh produce, ready meals and tinned and bottled produce. All good quality stuff and tasty food. My only gripe is that it can get crowded and the queues can get long. Other than that it's a brilliant addition to the range of town centre shops in Hitchin

Their range of organic meats is amazing and their poultry and game section second-to-none. Go at the right time and you'll be able to pick up reduced food at Sainsburys-like prices. My only gripe is their booze section - compared to the rest of the shop it seems rather small and limited. Good parking, slightly out of the centre of town and not that obvious to find - but worth tracking down.
