An average-sized Sainsbury's, it might not be perfect but the selection is okay and I did manage to get most of the items which I came in for, which is handy, especially considering I was unable to do so at the nearby Tesco Superstore, elsewhere in Sale town centre.
The store is a little difficult to get in/out as the one-way system getting into the store involves barriers, and if you start walking the wrong way, you will eventually have to go back which is annoying, I get they're trying to keep people safe due to COVID restrictions but they should make it clearer to improve customer experience.
The staff seemed friendly enough although I did struggle to get a staff-member when I needed one, the checkout layout was also strange, they had four self-service checkouts at the right end of the store, with only one turned on, as I had a problem, there was no staff member nearby, so I had to take my shopping elsewhere in the store.
The coffee and tea aisle was split, for some reason they had the Nespresso capsules on the corner as you go onto the aisle, again I do prefer everything to be together.
Not the largest of Sainsbury's, but a pretty decent store nonetheless. 3* read more
