I admit, I am a bit of a Sainsbury's fan. My mum used to shop there when I was at home, and I did my time on the checkouts! So it's a place I know and trust. I've shopped at other supermarkets, but have always come back to Sainsbury's.
This store is fairly large, but I tend to avoid it and go to the Richmond branch as this one is so busy, and they have a really small car parkat weekends for instance, you have pretty much no chance of getting a space! It's ridiculous!
They also don't seem to have a large amount of checkouts open, so you end up having to wait a fair while (unlike the other branch!)
This is also one of only a few places to park in Chiswick High Road. Sainsbury's bought in a policy where you have to spend £5 instore to get free parking, which I admit I have abused once or twice, but it's a bit annoying to try and remember to find your car park card at the checkoutI've forgotten to get it scanned in the past and had to go back instoreotherwise they'll charge you £50!!
Anyway, it's a nice store, but parking makes it a no-no for me read more
