I choose Dr. Joseph because she had great reviews, however this was not my experience. I got there…read moreat 9:45 for 10am appt and didn't leave until 12pm. Even the front staff seemed surprised. Student doctor was very nice, thorough and approachable. He looked up one thing and reported back to me during the appt. He told me that Dr. Joseph was running behind, and she was not friendly and seemed to be in a super rush. I felt more like a number than a patient that was cared about. Nearly everything I had discussed with the student doctor was not discussed between me and Dr. Joseph. She did not ask me if I needed to discuss anything, but said something like we were done with nothing else to discuss. The nurse was going to see if she could access my blood work and never got back to me and Dr. Joseph didn't try to get it either. I had brought the info with me but she was so quick and unfriendly that I didn't feel comfortable to talk with her about it. I actually felt like crying when I left there because it was such a bad experience and I have health concerns and could not discuss them with Dr. Joseph.

It was the best recommendation I have EVER gotten. She is a caring and peaceful doctor that listens to you with an open mind. Her visits were much longer than my previous OBs because she sat down with you and got to know you. I really loved that! I felt like I wasn't a medical chart, but a human being. When it came time to have my sweet little baby girl. My goals were to have the most natural birth possible and I did! With the help of a wonderful doula I stayed home and labored til I was 10cm dialated. When I got to the hospital Dr. Bouchard welcomed me with a warm smile and told me everything was going to be ok. I felt so at peace knowing she was there--because I knew I was in good hands. My husband absolutely loves her and loved her bedside manner. She has a old fashion manner that many doctors nowadays lack! We need more loving and caring doctors like Dr. Bouchard! If you are considering her for your OB/GYN care I would be more than happy to give you more information about her.
