Im not sure what took us so long to find this place in Malaga. We'd all but given up on finding any other coffee shops that we loved.
Sunday's are a bit of a void for places like this and our personal go to is off for the day. My wife heard about a place called Surge so we decided to go and try that out. Despite arriving around 12:30 we found them closed.
Irritated we looked for an alternative and found this place, highly rated and decided to walk by before giving up and heading home.
Arrived and found them open and crowded. Not an empty table. We considered just going back home and giving up on our Sunday brunch aspirations. As we asked about tables, the waitress mentioned a group had just paid and was about to leave, so we stuck around. So glad we did.
First of all the waitress was awesome, knowledgeable and super chill. Next, the food and drink were all excellent. We ordered the red smoothie, two oat lattes, and two palta (avocado) toasts - one with a poached egg and one with a fried egg. Everything came out perfect both in preso (check the picture AND coffee art) and flavor.
The place is also very chill, tucked away off a side street near the main intersection.
I'm very happy to report, I think after two years, we've finally found our Sunday brunch spot. read more
