I absolutely agree with Sarah. They will fool you at first.
This is a terrible place to live. I had put in work orders for the several problems we had with our apartment, cupboards, drawers and blinds broken or missing that were not responded to for several weeks. When I called to check on the work orders I was told I was low priority because my problems were not as important as the other issues at the complex.
There was an incident where they had turned my water off, so I called to notify them that I did not have water. I was responded to with an angry voicemail telling me that I had water the entire time. Except that I didn't. They were rude and unprofessional when I tried to tell them otherwise.
At least in the bottom floor, the unit is ridden with earwigs, flies, and spiders. We did what we could by setting fly traps and bug repellent, but they just keep coming.
They are pet friendly* *unless otherwise specified. Basically, because my unit didn't have poop and urine stains on it from previous pets, they refused to let me get a pet.
It's minor, but it will bug you, the fridge opens in such a way that you have to walk outside the kitchen to retrieve anything.
We had sprinklers spraying at our window and leaking through.
Parking is very competitive.
Neighbors are noisy and fight frequently.
Mold grows on the bathroom walls rapidly if you want to shower with the door closed.
Ice maker doesn't work in fridge and when asked if they could fix it was told to do it myself or go buy ice.
The only positive features to these apartments is that they always have vacancy (because they're terrible), they are conveniently located (Raley's, PetSmart, Ross, Mattie's, etc...), and they are decently priced (because if they raised their rates, nobody would live here). They have less than 80% of their units filled and it's dropping. read more
