Last night I saw my first production at the Sagebrush Theatre (Les Miserables performed by the Sagebrush regular Western Canada Theatre Company). Overall I was very impressed by the venue.
While small, the lobby is warm, clean, and inviting. It's a nice place to mingle before a show and during intermission. Coat check is available, as well as a small bar with a decent variety of drinks and snacks.
As for the theatre itself, I was surprised at the number of people it could hold (just over 700). Because of the steeply tiered seats, there doesn't appear to be a "bad" place to sit. My only real criticism is that the seats are somewhat cramped. I'm fairly short and I was uncomfortable so I can't imagine how bad it would be for someone taller. read more
