Majority of her "good" reviews are given by students who were told BY MRS KIM to leave a review in return for extra credit. She mocks students in front of others, she discloses students learning disabilities as a topic of discussion in her class, and she will expose a student's personal family issues with the class. Her criticisms and lessons are not helpful to the children as some students leave her program doing worse than when they first started. She will jeopardize student's safety to save a few bucks. On multiple occasions, she will leave students unattended. The front door to her facility is always unlocked regardless of the time of day/night, creating an opportunity for any stranger to enter. If you are looking for a place to help your child who is struggling academically, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. Their ability to improve is along the lines of watching a few Youtube videos. Parents seek private tutoring when their child needs help. However, Mrs. Kim will not help a child in need. In fact, she will only help the children who are already excelling. Instead of helping a student in need, Mrs. Kim sabotages a student's desire to learn.

I wanted a refund due to the lack of success and improvement. I was promised a partial refund in June. I have called at least once every two weeks. It is now October 28th. I have been bounced around from person to person as to where my money is. The Director in Plainview said I would receive an email of the response from Corporate office and she would send to me, which I still haven't received. I don't know if I should call Better Business Bureau, hire an attorney, instead I decided on Yelp. Not only do they NOT deliver the results they promise, they have poor customer service, as well as teaching abilities. I have now called Corporate Center and still have not heard back. As far as tutor centers go, I would not recommend to anyone.

He was really not qualified to teach. He mispronounced vocabulary words and repeated that "you should skip a question if you are not sure". The "guarantee" is garbage. You can get your money back if you get less than 200 pts more on your test than on your initial practice. You get 200 points by just practicing at home. It is nothing. Also we were supposed to take 4 practice tests for the guarantee, but the teacher did the 4th one in class and did not submit it! So the guarantee was void! They offered me their online review, but you can get a better one free thru the POB Library website. Instead of paying $1400 for their crummy course, hire a great tutor for $100 a session and it will be better. That is what my parents had to do. Now I feel prepared. Do not use Princeton Review for the SAT!
