I came to Nicole over a year ago looking to find someone who understood my hair type and who would be able to cut it in a way that would enhance it's natural waves and curls with little to no effort on my part. I am very low maintenance yet I am very finicky about my hair. I don't want to have to spend hours working on it, but I want it to look good. I explained all this to Nicole up front and even expressed my fear of getting a bad cut because I have had so many before. Not only did Nicole actually LISTEN to everything I had to say and take it to heart, based on what I told her I was looking for (low maintenance but looks great) she was able to give me the best haircut I have had since my last favorite stylist left (who, coincidentally was also an employee of Embrace). Nicole took her time, explained what she was doing, asked me what I thought about this and that throughout the cut and kept me as involved in the process as she was. Not once did I feel like I was in anything but capable hands and at the end I was completely in love with my hair cut. She styled it beautifully and explained to me what she was doing so I could do it myself at home. I love Nicole! Nicole works at Embrace, so I love Embrace! Another bonus are the products they use. Euphora is a wonderful organic line that makes my hair feel so soft and healthy and it smells wonderful. Everytime I come home from getting my hair done my boyfriend asks me if I am wearing new perfume because I smell so good. Embrace is definitely one of my favorites!

I booked my appointment yesterday and upon arrival, discovered the entrance is locked if a massage is in session. It didn't take very long before one of the therapist came to the door. Once I was inside, I filled out a questionnaire about the wants I had for my massage. I liked being able to circle on a picture my exact problem areas. Kate was my therapist today and she was amazing for several reasons. Before she started the massage she talked to me about the questionnaire, and asked me to describe what the pain felt like. I really felt like she wanted to find out how to help me. The most important reason she's amazing is because of her massage. Most massages I've gotten have been Swedish massage, and I've come to expect the different techniques. Kate did more deep tissue and she also stretched my arms to complement the massage. She has a very nice flow to her massage and her neck massage was top notch!!! I could feel my fingers twinge from knots in my neck. I love getting massages but I also love getting knots out and this was the perfect balance. Kate also performed cupping massage on my face and back. I have never had this done and was very skeptical of it. It was a surprise of how good it felt! There was more oil applied and she moved the cups around after suction had been applied. It felt similar to the rolling of skin but in a lighter way with more pulling... the coolness of the glass felt great on my cheeks and jawline. It was a surprise to enjoy cupping, I also say that if aliens gave massages, cupping would be an aliens favorite,‍ The massage room was very nice and cozy, it had little things to make it feel like a quality room like heated floor mats, and nice furniture to put your bag or clothes on, and a heated massage table!!! Anyways, I found my permanent massage therapist, I highly recommend Kate!!! She's also super sweet and let me take her picture for this review!

I had to have her tone it a neutral brown just so I could leave and not be embarrassed at work till I can find someone to fix this. Needless to say all she did was bleach is then thrown a copper looking toner over my whole head, then another red toner and finally the brown to neutralize it. Now I'm going to have to spend so much money to fix this. The owner refunded me but honestly it's going to cost double to undo this mess and it's just so sad.
