My experience involves what I believe to be excessive fee-shifting practices. According to the ledger provided to me, this firm charged over $4,000 in fees to collect a balance of around $300. Specifically, on May 14, 2024, my account was billed five separate collection fees totaling approximately $1,296 in a single day. While I understand debts must be paid, I believe charging thousands of dollars in fees for a minor late balance is disproportionate and unfair to consumers. I share this so other homeowners are aware of how this firm operates regarding fee structures."

She sought out a plea bargain for me that back dated my credit for time served so I would get the credit for the year I had already been incarcerated. Come to find out that my plea agreement wasn't lawful or legal. So then after finding out that Oregon department of corrections wouldn't honor my plea agreement me and my family called and called to ask Anna Lasher to simply go to bat for me and get me the credit for time served that she, the prosecuting attorney, and judge all signed off on she blew me and my family off and wouldn't return our calls. Going through these people was a costly decision and the worst decision I've ever made because it cost me an entire year of my life that I will never get back. If you're considering hiring these people or Anna Lasher herself, just save your money because you'll end up needing it while you're in prison anyway. You would have a better chance at winning your case by representing yourself or even hiring someone from your nearest homeless encampment to represent you in court. Absolutely and completely incompetent at their jobs.

Diane also did my estate work, which needed to be changed as a result of the divorce. Erin carefully explained my options in retaining her services for the divorce, and my legal rights, but what I appreciated the most was the fact that, after doing so, she respected that this was "my divorce" as she put it, and the decisions were up to me all along the way. She answered all my questions in person and sent by email, and got the work done in a timely fashion. Amy, the Legal Assistant in this office, also was able to answer many questions over the phone, or refer them to Erin. I asked for a secondary recommendation, and he offered Mr. Vames. I got the impression that he didn't know him very well and I'm pretty sure he did not. I had what I can only describe as a condescending and dismissive conversation with him. He made it clear that he thought the reason I was referred to him is because my case wasn't worth him handling or any attorney handling. He said that basically there was no serious injury like the loss of an arm or body part; or a catastrophic injury. i always refer to this type of attorney as an ambulance chaser. I literally recommended that he go to the hospital to try to find clients there.Soft tissue injury cases can be quite serious and lead to lifelong problems. Ptsd is extremely serious and mine is already and it's only been 2 weeks. He couldn't have been calculated the amount of time and had gone by Nora had he'd read the notes that the person took who did intake on me. If you're done that, he would have been familiar and saved himself at least 5 minutes of his precious time. What he doesn't know is my time is also significant and I don't have time to waste it on people that are incompetent and rude. Save yourself some time and try to get an attorney like Dave Penoyer. He's a very nice attorney and I'm sure he could help anyone with a personal injury claim, Whether soft tissue injury or serious/catastrophic injury. I spoke to a few attorneys and I found them all to be nice. This is the only one that has been outright rude and dismissive. Think of the words "caveat emptor." once you get into attorney like this, you may have a lot of rude Behavior leveraged against you while you're injured. I can't speak for Mr Wang. He actually looked nice and I would defer to him in all questions to this office. They really need to have another rating on this which has zero stars and a thumbs down emoticon. It was that bad and he managed to do that all and just under 10 minutes. Seek representation elsewhere!
