This makes it popular with those tourists who look for some expensive authenticity Irish to bring home with them, and who have a few euros to spare. It's a good place for a wedding present too, or a smaller gift if you can't cough up the big bucks. It's a slightly pretentious establishment (definitely the kind of place might refer to itself as an establishment, it's not a common shop, don't you know), which I suppose comes part and parcel with the business they attract. We popped into this location to pick up a few tchotchkes for the folks back home. The store is packed with goods from wall to wall, floor to ceiling. They have all the classic souvenirs plus a few local specialties in the form of snacks and such. We scooped up a few magnets, a hat and a couple of t-shirts for the family. It was nice to be able to mark everyone off the list after one spot. Service was okay. Not very helpful and a bit disconnected at the register, but I imagine they are constantly busy, so just overwhelmed. Either way, it was noticeable, but didn't detract much from the experience. Overall, I'd recommend this or any Carroll's location in Dublin when you are after goodies from your trip.

Maybe I'm just sensitive to it but it was pleasant! I had a little wander around, checking out all the little gifts and trinkets. I was approached by a lovely guy with a huge smile, asking if I needed any help, I didn't. I spent about 30 minutes pottering around and it was lovely. I have my eye on a couple of things that I want now so I shall be making another trip out soon!

Here in Deans grange is a card & gift shop with a post office right in the middle of it... which makes sense when you need to send something to a loved one but have left it till last post the day before the special occasion .... There's a whole wife and anniversary joke here somewhere but damned if I can put it together. The shop is hallmark so funnily enough there are lost of 'cutesy' cards and cuddly toys and also a stationary section. The staff are friendly which you'd expect in a hallmark shop!
