After reading the great Yelp reviews, I contacted Adrian to arrange a late-night pickup from Albuquerque to Santa Fe on a busy Thanksgiving weekend. Despite the short notice, he kindly fit us in. Adrian and our driver, Brad, stayed in constant communication with us and our daughter throughout the entire process. When her flight was delayed even further, Brad remained in touch, adjusted the pickup accordingly, and made sure she arrived safely in Santa Fe. My husband gave him the physical address of the hotel we were staying at, but he drove in the opposite direction downtown and then claimed he had another fare, and since he did us a favor by driving us without a reservation, he was dropping us off MILES from our hotel and that he'd come back 30 minutes later to get us! He claimed that "every hotel in Santa Fe is the Santa Fe something-or-other" and that we told him the WRONG HOTEL. WE DID NOT! We booked an Uber out here for our return trip for $19 TOTAL. I prefer communicating that way, and they welcome it!! I'm so grateful for that! Whatever the customer wants. I'm so glad they offer all forms of communication. They are always accommodating and sensitive to whatever the customer's needs are. This includes if you need extra time getting in and out of the vehicle and getting settled...they are SO nice about that and never rush you and they do help you in any way they can. Buses in Santa Fe suffer from lack of funding and an apathetic public, who supposedly care about…read morethe climate but who drive doggedly no matter how awful the traffic or foul the air. The best way to illustrate the problem is to point out that Santa Fe Airport is an international airport, but none of the Santa Fe Trails bus routes go there--at all, ever. You see gloriously happy people hiking and biking on the wonderful walking trails, but when it comes to grocery shopping, appointments, school, work, etc. the middle class simply gets in their car and drives. If you live near Route 4, which is reliable and useful, you are fine. But most of the city of Santa Fe is simply inaccessible by public transportation, and they do not care.
