Safeway - Gas Stations Near Me - Woodland Park, Colorado

The self serve gas is the usual deal, but Susan at this location is much appreciated by this customer who felt her care and personal touch worthy of a shout out. A cold morning fueling only to discover a dead battery after attempting to restart upon leaving. Susan who was out tidying the islands was quick to grab the gentleman gassing up in front of me for a quick charge and a quick restart so I could be on the go. Her willingness to jump in and help what was clearly not my best morning was most appreciated. She even pointed out the Autozone next door in case I'd wanted to have my battery checked. Great work Susan, and thanks for making my day. read more

This fuel station and convenience store is located in front of the Safeway off of Highway 24 just past town. You can use your Safeway club card for a discount of .03 per gallon here. The store is small but pretty well-stocked, with a good coffee selection. Staff are very friendly, and this location also has a drive-thru car wash. read more

Safeway - Convenience store & fuel station in Safeway plaza off of Hwy 24 east - Gas Stations Near Me - Woodland Park, Colorado

Many shoppers here aren't wearing masks and they do not enforce the mandate. Wouldn't bother me as much but this particular store has no online ordering/pickup service like most stores do. Given all that's going on it's amazing how behind they are. Store itself is nice. Much better experience than City Market up the road. Good selection and never very crowded. read more

This store has a large produce section and a lot of gluten free and organic options (my niece has celiac with special dietary needs), however, it is far over priced. That is the only positive thing I can say about this store. The employees are rude, it is not particularly clean and when I went into the restroom I almost puked from how disgusting it was and immediately turned around. I'm beginning to believe that it is just this area of Colorado that has rude people. read more

The Safeway gas station, which is not in walking distance to the store, has no restrooms. What is that about and why would I stop here again when there's several other gas stations that do provide better customer service. I won't be stopping here again. read more

I have been stopping here for years to get groceries on way to cabin. Sunday night i stopped in late hoping to get sandwich fixings from the deli. Mark was behind the counter just finishing up cleaning all the slicing equipment and closing up the deli for the night. He stopped and opened up everything to slice turkey and provolone cheese for me - he insisted! And with a huge smile. Wow! It was unorthodox or maybe just great customer service! This is why I shop here. Thank you Mark. Our dageood sandwiches were terrific! read more

Gas station is a little weird with its car wash. You cannot pay at the pump for the car wash you have to go inside the gas store and pay separately for the carwash. It's 2017, how about getting up-to-date pumps where you can pay for the car wash while you're getting your gas? Also the car wash is pretty lame. Paid for the good one and after I exited the car wash there was still soap on my car. read more

Ever since they stupidly killed self checkout, you're always waiting in long lines to checkout. Store is weirdly arranged for some stuff. The cards section breaks up things making everything in that area more difficult to find. read more
