I ordered a single smash burger with all the trimmings. It was so juicy and fresh and delicious. I also got a bag of specialty potato chips made with tallow which were good. The dessert was a small batch CF M&M cookie which tasted great. I had a Mexican Coke to drink. My husband ordered a pastrami burger and he liked it. We bought a couple of raw meaty dog bones from the freezer as well as a few ribeyes for meals next week. We're buying tickets for their upcoming 2026 Mother's Day dinner and I'm so looking forward to that experience. I love this place and we're coming back tomorrow.

I left my ID in the car but we went inside with my parents and we grabbed a bit more than chewing gum. One item my mother grabbed was a canned alcoholic beverage she wanted to try when we got to CA. When we went to check out, I stood with both my parents. The cashier refused to sell us the one alcoholic drink since I did not have my ID on me but I was with my parents. I have gone to many grocery stores, liquor stores, and convenience stores in my life with my parents and they have bought alcohol and I've never been asked to show my ID. There is no laws in AZ that states that you have to check the ID of everyone in the party, as long as there is one person who is 21+. Also in AZ, people under 21 can accompany someone 21+ into a bar but apparently can't buy ONE alcoholic drink at a gas station convenience store. I did not appreciate the rudeness of the cashier (who was an older lady). What if I was a minor and accompanied my parents since they would not want to leave me outside? Would they not sell it to them because I needed to be 21? Does not make any sense. Do better. Will NEVER stop at this location ever again and do not recommend anybody to come here unless you want to be unlawfully hassled for no reason.

All of the food was very good. I would consider myself a biscuits and gravy snob and I believe it's the best I've had in AZ yet. Highly recommend. The pancake and burrito were great as well. The staff were awesome and for a Sunday morning we didn't have to wait in line and the food came fast. We will definitely be making the drive up to wickenburg again. This is not restaurant related but I would recommend going on a Saturday instead of Sunday, because more shops are open and you can do more than one slower Sunday.

As I walked in the door, I saw one of the butchers standing about 15 feet from the door, smoking. All I needed from Bashas was a chicken breast and some pico de gallo. I walked back to the Meat Department.... no butcher. I thought, surely they have another staff member watching the counter while the one guy is on his smoke break. I rang the courtesy bell. No one came. So I decided to go to the Deli to pick up my pico de gallo. One woman was hurriedly scurrying about behind the counter. She did not greet me nor stop for about 5 minutes while I stood there in disbelief. She spit out "be right with you, I'm busy" about 7 minutes into waiting. There was no one else at the Deli or Bakery to assist her during "peak" hours. Finally, after about ten minutes of waiting, I finally got to order my pico de gallo. As she went to ring me up, I noticed a SWARM of flies over by the heat lamps. Not one or two, like.... 2 dozen. I was SWATTING them away. I quickly grabbed my pico and h eaded back to the meat department. Still no butcher. Again, I rang the courtesy bell. No answer. I asked a man who was mopping the floors to please get someone to help me. The butcher walks in from his smoke break (arguably a 15min+ session), DOES NOT WASH HIS HANDS, gloves them and then gives me my chicken breast. I realize he has gloves on but come on. That's still nasty. Your grubby bare hands are going from nicotene stick to mouth for 15+ min and you don't wash up? Health code violation. Even with the gloves. I think maybe I'll stick to Safeway for my meats and deli products from here on out.... someone hand me a barf bag.
