I called at 9AM the next morning, their indicated opening time and left a voice mail to get back to me ASAP. At 10:30 I went over and at 10:45 the manager was just arriving and when I talked to her she had many excuses as to not getting in touch with me, one blaming the glass manufacturer. They had not received the glass yet so I told her to cancel they job. I will say that on an earlier RV replacement when they got around to doing a good job, but with that time they did have problems with communications.

It happens but I ended up a little more frustrated because I couldn't find any helpful reviews for my area as to where I would get my windshield fixed. I actually ended up calling Firestone, where I get my car fixed for a recommendation. They recommended A1 Auto Glass & Mirror. First things first, it is NOT at 1300 E Washington Street!!! it is at 944 East Wythe Street, Petersburg, VA 23803. Its blue and white and located right behind what I imagine is a thrift store (the thrift store has the sign for A1 on it). Once you get there I found the staff to be very helpful, friendly and quick! I recommend making an appointment because they do have service calls where they will go out to your house if you would like (it costs extra). I can barely tell there is a nick in my window at all! What looked like a star type crack is now a tiny little dot! The lady at the counter handled everything for me so that my insurance covered the cost and all I did was sign one paper and I was in and out in 30 minutes! (Had my insurance not covered it, it would have been $50 which is a great price considering other places I called wanting to charge up to $150 before I ended up here) I highly recommend this place for any glass repairs you might have.

I am highly disappointed that my refund was not issued in a timely manner and that a loyal customer was treated in this way.

My windshield cracked when they tried to repair but they said it happens very infrequently. They offered to repair by installing a new wind shield but I had a $200 deductible. I was most disappointed but that's not the end of the story. They made all the arrangements for the new windshield and the insurance claim. They were ready to go at 8am the next day. Frank led the crew of four who worked as a team and were done w/I the hour. Clean and technologically tight. Regis assisted in cleaning the cabin and Frank assured me that it was 100% done right and tight. If you want it done right and clean and fast check out East End One other reason to drop by is to check out the owner/manager. He sits at the front desk and does not move or deviate from his command and control posture. He is old school completely in charge, self assured, and competent. He does not second guess Frank and his crew out back. They are trained and able. He made no apologies for the broken windshield and this helped me to trust them plus my wife's previous no charge fix. I can't but help butrecommend them to you if you want a clean, successful, fast, efficient and inexpensive repair. Plus the manager is hilarious as an archetype of good old in charge autocrat who enjoys being a boss and pulls it off very successfully. One suggestion in the era of BLM Try an affirmative hire.

I went to around 6-7 dealerships and they kept denying me and treating me like I was an agent of the devil. Then my friend discovered Drive Time. I was skeptical but her persistence showed me the way. I spoke with George Moses, the general manager. He told me over the phone he could get me into a car for $600 down if I was willing to make the trek down to Richmond. I was REALLY skeptical, as I have an open loan of around $6000 smackeroos and my credit is awful. My friend convinced me to go, and I am really happy I listened to her. From the moment we walked into the doors, I was treated like a human being and not as some fang-riddled monster. Tracey Townes was friendly, knowledgable, down-to-earth, attentive and most of all made me feel like I was home. Drive Time acts differently than any other dealership I've dealt with. They look at your income and they don't look at your credit rating. They will work with you. I had my sights set on another Nissan Versa but Tracey showed me the Honda Insight and I instantly fell in love with a hybrid. I can't rave about this place enough. If you have bad credit, bad breath and bad luck, they will still work with you! I love Drive Time!
