I was explicitly told a refund would be processed. Three weeks later, there was still no refund. When I called to resolve it calmly, Patrick refused to refund me, claimed the item worked, and told me to come pick it up instead. He was not present during either visit. His employee was the one who tested the item, said it didn't work, and told me the refund had already been issued. They had every opportunity to offer an exchange if they didn't want to refund the item, but instead they chose to say a refund was processed when it clearly was not. That is dishonest. All of this over a $15 item, which would cost me more in gas to retrieve. I've never dealt with a manager so pressed over such a small amount while handling the situation so poorly. I would not recommend this location based on this experience.

To begin with, the entire location was not Covid compliant, by a long shot. Out of the…read moreapproximately five employees present only one was even attempting to wear a mask and that mask was pulled down far below their face leaving their mouth and nose uncovered. This definitely poses a health risk to the community. I reserved a 17 foot truck because I did not want anything larger. I also reserved four dozen furniture blankets and two furniture dollies. When I arrived there was no 17' truck available so they gave me a 20 foot truck, which as stated was not what I wanted. They at first did not believe they had enough furniture blankets but somehow managed to find all of them. They did not have any furniture dollies, so after much deliberation they decided to give me the display models inside the store, but only after making me promise to return them. As if I wouldn't? The process also took longer than expected. The condition of the truck that was assigned to us was atrocious. It had a warning light indicating that the parking brake was engaged when it was not and instructing the user to disengage the parking brake. It did this in a English and Spanish voice repeatedly for the entire trip and also made a loud dinging sound, also for the entire trip. Since I was moving approximately 90 miles it was almost unbearable. I mentioned this to an employee before departing the location, and he said he knew of the problem and that he had been asking to have it fixed for a very long time. But it just never got fixed. And then he laughed. Because we were already behind schedule I could not take the time to ask the employees inside to try to find another truck since they earlier indicated they were totally overbooked. Our lengthy trip was made very annoying not just by the annoying mechanical parking brake issue, but also the fact that the truck was wildly out of alignment requiring constant attention to keep it in the correct lane. The truck had 140,000 miles on it and looked and drove like it. On the road we passed other people in rental trucks including a very nice Penske truck, making us wish we had used another company. Between the Covid safety issues at the location, and the mechanical safety issues with the truck, we will not be using this location or the U-Haul brand in the future.

The front desk clerk is very very rude and disrespectful. She uses profanity when talking, has…read morehorrible customer service and very unprofessional phone etiquette. The clerk called me regarding my account, which I had paid in full and didn't understand the nature of her call as I have always spoke to a different nice lady for the entire year I have done business here as well as always receive email and text updates regarding my account, and she got very disrespectful and hung up, the clerk proceeded to call me again and make several statements before hanging up. I called back several times asking for the clerks name as well as a manager and she said she was the manager. I arrived at the property to be informed she was not a manager and having a bad day. That does not give you the permission to speak disrepectly to the customers nor hang up on the customers you called several times. The clerk was also unhelpful and insinuating she would like to fight if I got to close to her, all while the manager on the property was asking me to come into the office so that she could assist me with access to my storage. Customer service classes as well as anger management classes would serve well for the front desk clerk working this morning. I do not handle disrespect well and will discontinue my business with this company as well as let others know my experience. When asking for the clerk's name she refused as she knew she was in the wrong and beyond disrespectful. I will also be reaching out to a regional manager or cooperate manager as this is very unacceptable.

Sister rented a UHaul trailer for 3 hours from this facility. Used the UHaul app to do self…read morecheck-in to expedite picking up the trailer. Got to this facility at 8:45 am, completed all necessary steps with representative. Meanwhile, 2 other separate parties came into lobby after us. Instead of completing his service with us by going out into the lot to check out and hook up trailer, the representative told us to wait while he served the needs of BOTH parties that came in after us. Our time was already ticking. He was using the time we paid for to serve other customers rather than finish with us and get us on our way. My sister and I went out and hooked up the trailer and pulled up to the front of the store so the representative could finish with us. My sister went back into the store, explained that he was using OUR PAID TIME to serve other customers, and suggested that he complete serving one customer before helping others. Representative got mad, threatened to cancel the rental which had already been paid for. My sister expressed that the contract was initiated and she didn't want the rental canceled, she just didn't want our time used to serve other customers. Representative threatened to report the trailer as stolen if we left with the trailer, and told my sister that she just wanted to argue since she was "having a bad day." Representative was screaming obscenities at my sister this whole time. He stated that my sister could have requested that her contracted rental time be reset to make up for the time HE USED to serve other customers. She stated that she should NOT have to ask for that, and had he completed his service with her before helping others, we would have been on our way. Resetting the rental time would have only produced even more work and would have delayed our move even more because that involves canceling the current contract and generating a new contract with new rental times. This man was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, rude, and clearly was only interested in doing what suited HIS needs rather than serving his customer's needs. We will NOT use this business ever again. My sister lodged a complained with UHaul about the representative. When we returned the trailer, she went into the office to complete the return. Representative REFUSED to come out to inspect the trailer or disconnect it from car, stating that he is not required to disconnect it as this business is a UHaul contractor, not a UHaul business. We took photos and video and unhooked trailer ourselves! No help whatsoever! Owner of this business should retrain this man!

Instead of quickly checking us in and finding our reservation, he decided to berate us for being late and parking in the "wrong spot" (parking lot with several empty spaces), and tell us how "busy" this weekend is. Newsflash - your store was EMPTY. Maybe he's upset over his failing business? Not sure. Don't take it out on us though. When we told him his negativity wasn't necessary, he got upset and said he was "just going to cancel our reservation." When he did that, it actually transferred us back to our preferred location, so THANK YOU! We're currently giving our money to someone else who wants and appreciates our business
