This is second review I have ever made in this forum.... It is unsolicited. Pam Johnson and her team are some of the finest people I have ever met professionally. Pam is clearly a very effective leader ...her staff/team or uniformly professional, upbeat, knowledgeable, friendly, patient... I sense they would be assets to any organization with whom they were associated. In their world, they are the ATeam. GJH

STAY AWAY FROM PAM JOHNSON STATE FARM. I have been a State…read moreFarm customer for more than 20 years. I currently have approximately a dozen personal and commercial insurance policies with State Farm agents across three states. I have extensive experience dealing with State Farm agencies, which is exactly why my experience with Pam Johnson State Farm stands out so dramatically. I discovered that my auto insurance policy had lapsed and that I was no longer insured. I had not realized that I was without coverage. Anyone who understands insurance understands the seriousness of discovering that you do not have the coverage you believed you had. This was not a minor inconvenience or a routine customer service matter. What happened afterward destroyed whatever trust I had left in this agency. When someone from Pam Johnson State Farm called me, she opened the conversation by saying she had a note that I had "questions about my policy." Questions? I had discovered a lapse in my auto insurance coverage that I had not realized existed. Reducing something that serious to a customer having "questions about a policy" told me a great deal about how seriously my situation was being treated. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and told the agency that I was done with them, the response I received was: "Okay, bye." I'll let prospective customers decide for themselves what that response says about the level of concern and professionalism they can expect when something serious goes wrong. And this was not simply one unfortunate interaction with a staff member. I have personally dealt with Pam Johnson herself. My direct interactions with Pam when raising serious concerns only reinforced my decision to leave. Rather than characterize her behavior with emotional labels, I will simply say this: after speaking directly with the person whose name is on the agency, I no longer believed my experience was merely the result of an employee providing poor customer service. I originally wondered whether Pam Johnson State Farm had simply grown too large to maintain good service. My personal experience with Pam Johnson changed that opinion. I also have an unusually strong basis for comparison. I have other State Farm agents handling my policies in other states. The difference in communication, professionalism, and the way serious concerns are handled has been remarkable. So let me be very clear. This review is specifically about my experience with Pam Johnson State Farm. Insurance is easy when everything is going right. You learn the value of your insurance agent when something goes seriously wrong. That is when communication matters. That is when professionalism matters. That is when trust matters. Pam Johnson State Farm lost mine. After more than 20 years with State Farm, approximately a dozen personal and commercial policies, and experience with State Farm agents across three states, I would not trust Pam Johnson State Farm with my insurance again. I am leaving this review so prospective customers can consider my experience when choosing an insurance agent and, hopefully, so this agency takes a serious look at how customers are treated when something goes wrong. Things are good until they aren't. Choose your insurance agent accordingly.

He and his staff are always there to help me update my insurance needs and make immediate changes when needed. I've been a customer with his agency for over 20 years now and yes insurance rates do change and State Farm may not always be the cheapest, but as long as his agency and staff continue to provide the remarkable customer service they will always be worth a little extra in my book! UNTRUSTWORTHY & UNORGANIZED…read more I obtained an auto quote on May 19 with an agreement that my policy would become effective on May 25 and that I would receive ID cards that day. Based on that information, I canceled my previous auto insurance. When May 25 arrived and I called to make payment and activate coverage, no one answered because of the holiday and I was redirected to text support. I was then told there were no agents available to complete activation, despite previously being told this would already be set up. The process felt disorganized and poorly communicated. Customers should not be put in a position where they cancel existing coverage expecting a seamless transition and then find themselves unable to activate their new policy. Based on my experience with this location, I would not recommend. I ended up switching to GEICO which was even cheaper than State Farm anyway! Additionally, look at all the previous clients of his who were canceled when they actually filed a claim, if you want a policy that has your back and actually has professional & trustworthy staff, look elsewhere! Additionally, when it's time to make changes to your existing policy, it takes 2 weeks or more for some reason. Every other policy I've had, changes were effective the very next day. Sate farm causes delays in important processes and that's simply not a company I can rely on
