Locked my car keys in my car purely by accident after I closed passenger door of my car all doors just suddenly locked and have no extra set of keys. Fortunately this happened at my House and Jim the Locksmith came to my House within an hour. He had no luck in opening either door and after about an hour or so and I was losing hope he would. My car is a Mercedes and certainly was tricky to get into, but he was determined, so he decided to return the following morning after contemplation, since I know he was determined and he didn't want this to be the first vehicle that he failed at. Once he returned to my House he had the door open in less that 5 minutes. Perseverance and determination are key....no pun intended. I bought a building in 2000 and it came with a large safe locked in the basement. Jim told me he would charge a flat rate to find the combination and open the safe. Jim arrived on time with his son and got to work . Four hours later he was able to get it open without destroying the safe--it turned out the mechanism was broken. Super polite and refused to take any extra money even after repeated attempts on my part to try to compensate the extra hours. Could not be happier with the service I received. . read more

I am stationed overseas in Germany and needed to get my locks changed in Virginia. I first called another company and after much hassle and trying to communicate with operators that barely spoke (much less understood) English, I called Safe Solutions. I explained my issue and they got it right away! Not only did they understand my challenges (overseas,no power of attorney, no relatives in the area), but they went above and beyond to help. Once there they changes the locks and then proceeded to give my friend advice on how to keep the house stay until my return in a few months! I mean who does that? Searched for locksmith via google and found this lock smith. Checked on YELP for some comments. Called at 6:30 pm and Jim the owner talked with me at that time. Went over pricing and made appointment for next day. Jim came to the door and was wearing a company logoed shirt. He was good with our 2 dogs as well. Worked very quickly. The other company we took a quote from was Baldino's and for the same work their quote was 30% more than Safe Solutions. Locks fixed great and door working even better than before. Would call again and hopefully we wont need them in an emergency but they promote 24/7. read more

I tried on two different days to get these people to come get me into my storage room in Woodbridge, VA. I had left the key to the lock back in FL. Due to a very serious family issue, I HAD to get into the storage room. I called them on Thursday, told them I needed to have the meet me at the storage room by 6, so they could verify it WAS my room. They told me they would try to have someone there by 6, and they would call if that wasn't going to happen. at around 5:30 on Thursday, I had not heard from them, so I called and told them we should try for Friday. They told me the technician would call me in the morning. Nope. I had to call them. And then, when I finally was speaking with the technician, he said to me; "You tell ME what time to meet you and I will work it out." We agreed on 4pm. It was about noon, then. I got to the storage facility before 4. At 4:00, no technician. I called him. He said he would be there in 10 minutes. 4:10, no tech. No tech at 4:20 and finally at 4:30, I told the storage folks he wasn't coming and I would try to find someone else. They told me they would take a shot at cutting the lock off... it was one of those round ones, which don't leave a lot of room for such efforts. I agreed to let them try, signed their waivers, and walked down to the storage room. I got there, and the guy had already cut the old lock off! I slipped the new lock on, got what I needed and headed back to my car. I get there, and lo and behold the tech FINALLY shows. I sent him on his way. These guys specialize in over-promise, under deliver. At least in this case. read more
