Had a room, this past weekend, with a couple of issues reported and no remedy to any of the issues. TVs didn't work. HVAC return filter was disgusting. Condo was listed as "sleeps 4 with pullout couch". Negative. No pull out couch was there. Also, when seeking food at the dock, the management of the restaurant was absolutely horrible. The staff will ignore you and you will stand and wait to be seated 10-15 mins because nobody wants to seat you or even speak to you. We sat ourselves, then got lectured by the manager as to why you don't do that even after stating that we had not seen a hostess or server come around. After waiting for over an hour after ordering pizza, they tell us they are out of pizzas....when asked "we are hungry so now what?" the server shrugged his shoulders and walked off. We will not be back here and will heavily encourage any of our family/friends to stay away from this marina. It has majorly fallen downhill since Safe Harbor has taken ownership.

Who ever put her in charge knew a great manager when they saw one. Then after a rather brisk day (in February), we arrived with our house boat. We were met in the harbor by a gentleman in a pontoon who led us to our slip. Another young man was on the dock to help bring us in without mishap. If that wasn't wonderful enough...Freezing we took refuge in the bar portion of Fish tales. Where we met two beautiful inside and out, woman who not only made us feel welcomed and wanted but when we couldn't get a Lyft driver to get us home. One loaned her car to the other and she brought us all the way back to our cars in sommerset. The two beautiful woman? Coco and Karen! You don't have to go to cheers in Boston where everyone knows your name...the perfect place is right here in Wolfs creek. A little hard to get to, but worth every curvy road. You won't regret it!

We had such a great experience with Hendricks Creek Resort. Our family traveled to Dale Hollow Lake…read morefor the Fourth of July. This was a last minute so we had no boat lined up to rent. Obviously with it being such a big holiday we were having a hard time finding an available boat as well as it being an affordable price. Our Airbnb happened to be near this resort and boy were we lucky! We gave them a call and were greeted by Cathy over the phone. She was so so so sweet! It was such a joy speaking with her. She made the reservation process super easy and it was very personable, not rehearsed. We were able to get a double decker pontoon with a slide at a decent price super last minute/same day! Not only that but we were able to use my partners Military discount! They walked us through the process over the phone and asked us to come in for the last bit. We arrived to friendly faces and inviting attitudes. All of the staff were very easy to talk to. It was like chatting with family or friends. We arrived a bit later than scheduled but they were understanding and extended our reservation by one hour so that we could still take full advantage of our day. The boat was very clean and welcoming. It was also very easy to navigate and operate. We had such a great day. So much so that I don't think I saw our teenager pick up his phone one time while out on the water lol. We will absolutely be using this marina again! I don't think we will use anywhere else after this weekend actually. We are already planning to come back next month with all three children and renting a houseboat for the weekend! When we get there, she is not only stone cold to us, wouldn't even let us register before 4. We had to sit outside in 95 degree weather for 2 hours only to find out that the air conditioner on the boat was not working. They didn't offer us any other option, they put in a temporary AC unit, which was worthless and dangerous - it condensated all over the electrical cord, used all the gas in the generator, which the gage stayed on full, resulting in us running out of gas. The next morning after spending a miserable night sweltering in the heat, the run a bout that we rented didn't start, we had to wait for them to send someone out to fix, the cold water in the shower stopped working - all you could get was hot water on an already horrible hot houseboat. - We were ready to come home on day 2 of our 4 day vacation that we planned for months, saved and took time off from our jobs. I have to say, one of the worst experiences of our life. We talked to Kyle and he was fully aware of the situation and he said he wanted to make it right. My father in law said he could refund at least some of the money, needless to say, the check was cashed and no refund given. This is the absolute worst marina on this otherwise beautiful lake, the boats, cabins, runabouts and even the store are all in horrible shape, several years outdated and should all be replaced or demolished. Please don't waste your time and money, all other marinas are so much better, the people are nicer. Patty should not be the face of any business, she will be the reason it goes out of business.

My family and friends rented a 50' family boat and I was so impressed with how nice the boat was organized. The marina was clean and had everything we needed for a GREAT long weekend. The Marina is impressive with the bridge over top of it. Loading and unloading was efficient and there were plenty of heavy duty carts to get your gear moved. SUNSET Houseboat- 50 footer very comfortable for 4 couples! Generator was brand new and started very easily. Overall fantastic experience. Staff was really courteous and knowledgeable. When we did have an issue with our fridge, they came out immediately even though we were camped 15 miles away on the other side of the lake. They took care of us! A+++++ service.

We have called numerous times for help, it's been 18 hours and counting, still no one is here to help. The engine isn't working, the fuel gauge is broken, we have no working generator and we can't seem to get anyone here from the marina to help.
