My car was broken into smashing the passenger side window. I called around and couldn't get an appointment for several days. I wanted it fixed as soon as possible because I imagined my car being a target. I called Safe Auto Glass and their prices were much better and they had an appointment for the next day. (And I called just after 5 pm. They were actually closed. The nice gentleman took my call, and then called me back to quote the price). That was very nice! Their technician even came to my house to make the repairs. His name was Alex, and he did a great job and cleaned up all the broken glass in the front and back seats. Cracked my windshield and thought I was screwed because I wouldn't have time to get it repaired for days due to work. BE CAREFUL that you don't depend on them!!! I booked them several days ahead, confirmed them the day before and then they texted me 1.5 hours before my appmt to ask if they could come early. I was not available then but they said "ok" that they would be there at scheduled time and then BLEW ME OFF, my guess is bc they did not want to come at the scheduled time. I spent 30 minutes on the phone giving this company the exact part number from BMW for my windshield & they show up with the wrong one & ask me do I want it anyway. Your lane departure won't work but other than that, you'll be fine. What a joke! No sir, I want the right windshield please. I get back on the phone with headquarters only for them to ask me for the part number all over again. You get what you pay for they say. I'm done with all these 2nd rate windshield replace companies. I'll pay two to three times the amount through the dealership to get it done the same day & done right. They didn't even call to say when & if they could get the correct windshield. I couldn't be happier with my windshield replacement. My brother in law went out for a night on the town and brought back my brother's car with a smashed windshield. It was obvious someone threw something heavy at it. It looked like someone threw a baseball at the windshield. The passenger side took the most impact, but cracked across the driver's side. My brother didn't have full coverage and couldn't get the car inspected like it was. I stepped in to help him. I called around for quotes and Safe Auto Glass was much cheaper than the national company with asimilar name - by like $150 cheaper. The installer came to my business. He was actually a little early on the appointment time. He was very courteous and fast. The installation took less than half an hour. The cost was $189.99 + tax = $205.66. Good: Very quick and very nice and cheaper than Safelite. Bad: They did not tell me they were going to use a knock-off brand glass. I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma with the GoPro mount in the windshield. They asked asked if I had that option and I said yes. The new glass has a generic mount and I can see waves in the glass (big time) when viewed at an angle. My original was not like that. It just looks cheap compared to the original. I never would have ordered the service had I been told they were not going to use OEM equipment with the same quality. I guess I should have asked, but did not know it could be an issue. After I drove it I really noticed the blur when looking to the right out the windshield. I expressed my concern to the installer but assured me it was like the original, but it is not. I compared it to my neighbors truck and it's like night and day. I called to have the shop replace it and they wanted an additional $808.06 to give me a quality glass. They seemed to have no desire to resolve the matter. Bottom line, if you want to keep the wind off of you go with these guys. If you care about your car and want quality glass run for the hills. read more

Do not use this place. They damaged the roof on my FJ trying to remove the top molding while replacing the windshield. Then its deny, deny, deny. Just got off the phone with my insurance company. They are pursuing for the damage. If you do use them. Don't sign anything without taking a picture of it. They falsified the invoice after I claimed the damage. Luckily I have a copy that shows that. Well Folks you get what you pay for. I decided to go with Safe Auto Glass because they were considerably cheaper. What I got was a far below par experience. They basically sent out who I suspect was just a subcontractor to replace my windshield. The rear view mirror fell off the next day. I called and was told I needed to bring my car to them to have fixed, which is over an hour away. I said no dice. They sent the same guy out, and this morning the mirror is hanging again. Haven't decided whether to drive all the way to Dallas, or just take it to my dealership to see if they can fix it. read more

WOW Hats off to Accent AutoGlass and their Tech Arturo! I had to replace my windshield due to damge caused by a group of little thugs a while back. I called them and they came to my house to do the repair. From the time Arturo knocked on my door to the time he drove of with my new windshield in place, registration inspection stickers affixed and new windshield wipers on 30 minuetes!!! read more

My God, oh yes they are fast , but let me tell ya. Someone broke the window out of my husbands corvette. SG replace the window. They left a lot of glass in the door of the car. He spent an additional 175.00 to have the tint put back on and also 425.00 for the window. Every time he slammed the door you could hear glass. I noticed a Groupon for chip repair this morning and bought it since I had 2 extremely small rock chips. I went to their Plano location showed them to the technician and he said that there would still be a tiny surface speck but it would keep the windshield from cracking. He wanted to make sure that I did not expect perfection (as he should). HOWEVER, he "forgot" to tell me that there was a chance of it cracking when he attempted to repair them. The first one he tried to repair cracked the windshield for about 2 feet. If he had told me that there was a chance of that happening, I would not have taken that chance since the chips were over a year old and probably would not have cracked after that long. The people there called someone (owner or someone with authority) to see what they would do for me. The technician told them that he forgot to tell me about the risk two different times. The only "offer made" to rectify the situation was that they would install the glass for free if I paid for it. Big deal, I came in to spend 35.00 and now they want to sell me something to fix their mistake. I think not! I was told that I could get my 35.00 back from Groupon, but now I have to spend my time explaining all of this to Groupon. DO NOT USE THESE FOLKS, they do not understand customer good will. read more

This glass company is a few dollars cheaper than a lot of the companies, but you get what you pay for. They had to replace my glass a 2nd time because the rain sensor did not work. Now there is a strong wind noise coming through the windshield. They sent someone out twice and I drove them around so they could hear it, both times the technician said he knew where it was coming from and promised they would take care of it. They have not fixed it and now they are avoiding my calls. I would not recommend this company, again you get what you pay for. read more

I dont write reviews often but Im too aggrivated to leave it alone. First trip to my house they brought wrong windshield and didnt realize till after old one was taken out...left and came back with correct one, broke it during install...left came back installed and got the black adhesive on my windows, dash, and didnt even seal up the pass side of windshield which leaked water all into my floor board. Came to fix that, now my a pillar trim is glued to windshield and trim on outside is glued to the glass because he just pumped a ton of sealer into the side of the glass. Windshield is not even centered . Is shifted to the left by half inch. Found 2 of the trim retainers laying on the hood which fell off when he mangled the trim taking it off. Not happy and tired of calling and being put on hold. Would not use again ever..safelite from now on. May cost more but will probly only need 1 trip. I will attach pics later read more

Had them replace the windshield on my 2011 Ford Flex. Serviceman was in such a hurry he cracked both trim pieces and so hastily removed the windshield moulding/weatherstripping it is not useable. Where they replaced the cracked pieces of trim, the weatherstrip is still missing. The car windshield now looks incomplete and is completely unacceptable. Serviceman tried to tell me it was common to ruin the original and that's the way it would be.. There's a video online that shows you how to properly remove the stripping without damaging it. One would think they would send a qualified, trained technician out to repair a vehicle, and do it in a manner that doesn't cause damage or unsightly repair. Company has failed to come to resolve to fix the issue. read more
