I have been to this place four times. The first two times were amazing. The last two times were really bad, and tonight was the worst. They were out sirloin, ribeyes, tomahawks,shrimp, and half of their beers. All they had were the tips which sadly I ordered med rare. These came out hard and well. I also got the crispy Brussels sprouts, which usually are great, but these were inedible due to over-salting. Also, my baked potato was brown inside. This was at 5:00 pm on a Saturday. I stopped in on a Wednesday evening , I placed my order for entree and appetizer. My drink came quick , but it ended there. Next more than one hour went by. I watched one party of regulars after another come in order, get served and eat while I waited , apparently it's not first come first serve , more like regulars first and you latter. I declined an opportunity to discuss this with the manager, Paid for the drinks and left. I have visited Saddle Ridge on many occasions. This place has good "bar" food. Every time we have visited it has been consistent. We have ordered many different menu items and have never had a bad dish. Burgers, steak, steak sandwiches, salads, onion rings, fries, have all been great. Clean, local bar/restaurant. We've always been when it's not busy so I can't speak to how they would do under a lot of pressure. The food has always come out hot and fresh and we've never had bad service. If you go in expecting high brow you will be disappointed but if you want decent, fresh, tasty food, try Saddle Ridge. Not a huge fan. Came out from the Pittsburgh area to watch a band play. The atmosphere was cool. I'm a huge fan of country music so I definitely was digging that part. But that's about it. We got there about 9:15, sat down and we're looking over the menu. Around 9:30 after deciding what we wanted the waitress came over and told us that we could only order apps...So of course now we needed more time to see what we wanted. We ended up with the mozz sticks, jalapeño poppers and the loaded nachos with pulled pork. The mozz sticks weren't cooked the whole way and the poppers tasted like something weird was in the fryer. As for the loaded nachos they were loaded with processed cheese that was pretty cold. Not enough pulled pork on top and way too much salsa. Then to top off the experience. AFTER we had received our food and we're done there were plenty of other people ordering normal food off the menu!!! I don't think I will be returning here. read more

However the wait staff was slightly agitated when our party asked to be moved outside, even though we were given either choice when we made the reservation; and they had no clean silverware for us even though we were there a few hours after opening and it was not very crowded at that time. The burgers are the 1/2 pound variety and are exceptional. A good selection of beers on tap and the large glasses (must be over 25 ounces) really hit the spot. I have dined here approximately six times. The wings are usually always good if they haven't run out. Even on 'Wing Night' this occurs. The pulled pork fully loaded nachos are outstanding if they aren't out of pulled pork as they were this evening. Our waitress spent the majority of our visit at the end of the bar with the other wait staff. We were never offered drink refills, our check was presented to us before we could request dessert. We ordered dessert. Still no drink refills nor were we offered take home containers for our leftovers. When a consumer is willing to spend the better part of a hundred dollar bill at an establishment, they shouldn't have to guess whether or not menu items will be available or whether the wait staff will simply do their job. Overall, if you're up for a crap shoot dining experience, I would highly recommend Saddle Ridge. You just might have a good meal (if they have what you want) with good service.
