If you do not pay for expedited service do not expect your POS in less than a month. He was quick to take on my cases and collect payment, but the real problem began afterward when accurate paperwork and follow-through were needed. I paid for two separate cases. In the first case, the Proof of Service was delayed over a month, and when I finally received it, he had listed the defendant's previous address as my address, the plaintiff. Because of that mistake, the court now reflects incorrect address information for me. In the second case, the court rejected the Proof of Service three separate times because of incorrect information. This case had specific service requirements, and I repeatedly asked for corrections because deadlines mattered. Months later, the paperwork was still not corrected. One revised version was sent, but the court rejected it again. Instead of taking responsibility, he called me a liar and a thief after I disputed the charges with my bank while waiting for proper paperwork. When I pleaded with him to fix the forms so my case would not be harmed, he responded: I WILL NOT FIX IT, I HAVE SPENT TOO MUCH TIME ON YOUR PAPERS!! He then threatened police reports, small claims court, and demanded a cashier's check before making corrections. HE IS A VERY INEXPERIENCED SERVER AND DOES NOT KNOW THE COURT RULES WHEN IT COMES TO SERVICE. He told me an attorney friend advised him how to handle one of the cases, yet he still could not complete the paperwork correctly. His errors and refusal to timely correct them can potentially cost me the chance to recover five figures for damages due to missed service deadlines. Waiting two months for a Proof of Service is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. My warning to new customers: if your matter is simple and mistakes do not matter, you may be fine. But if your case is time-sensitive, requires strict compliance with court rules, or depends on accurate filings, I strongly recommend using an experienced professional instead.

I had a positive experience with LDA, especially with Angela and her secretary, Stephane…read more My case took more than 12 weeks, but they were honest from the beginning about the delays at the Sacramento Court. They explained that the waiting time was due to the court process, not their office. It's important to understand that LDA is not a law firm. They prepare and file legal forms for you. Once your paperwork is complete, you simply review, sign, and pay for the service. If you have legal questions or need advice, use Google, ChatGPT, or consult an attorney. Their role is to prepare and file documents, not provide legal advice. Once my forms were completed, they filed them the same day or the next business day. After that, they waited for the court's response along with me. When the court's processing time became unusually long, they even contacted the court clerk twice to check on the status. They cannot control how quickly the court works, but they followed up responsibly. They generally don't return phone calls, but in my experience they responded to emails the same day about 99% of the time, or early the next morning. They consistently did what I paid them to do, and they followed their policies professionally and responsibly. I also want to be fair and mention that some of the delays in my case were caused by me, not by LDA. Telephone calls I made were in panic because, you understand, I am a Landlord, I pay expenses, time goes, etc. it's about nothing, and does not make papers move. I know waiting is very painful for a Landlord but be ready for this situation, eviction is a marathon not a spring. Keep your breath. Overall, I appreciate their honesty, professionalism, and reliability. If you understand what an LDA does, follow their process instead of trying to create your own, and have realistic expectations about court timelines, I believe you'll have a good experience.

It's 3 days after submitting all our documents and payment online and I am googling to find out if the business is even open and real which is not a good sign. It seems like they must have gone out of business because it seems strange that there is no communication whatsoever. No one answering the phone? No one answers emails? I can't find anywhere it says this location is now closed but something is not right. Disappointed. So after first denying we existed I sent a copy of the very confirmations of information uploaded to their website and payment to their office. I also sent the emails that went ignored. The owner has now refunded us but what about the time we lost in a time-sensitive legal matter? An eviction matter has a specific time-clock and it's already a drawn out process. The owner can rapid fire respond to a yelp or google review but couldn't be bothered to respond to emails? To calls? Or to take any action whatsoever? That's priorities! And to be clear- tonight I read a review by someone named Matt Reis on google. He had the exact same experience 4 weeks ago. He lost valuable time and money due to their inaction and dereliction. And no one communicated with him either. So it's a pattern not an anomaly. Who wants to deal with a company on sensitive matters that is so unreliable, unprofessional, uncommunicative, and who is more concerned with their yelp reviews than client service? We got our money back but they wasted our time. We won't forget that for any of our rental properties.
