An incredible and all-encompassing experience!…read more Yogi Blair is incredibly warm and welcoming with a very calm, soothing, and playful energy. He shared with us a wealth of knowledge and guided us through an incredibly beautiful, grounding, and healing experience. This was my first time in Sedona, and this experience is, by far, the favorite part of my whole trip. I booked a hike, yoga, & meditation excursion based on all these amazing reviews and the experience far exceeded my expectations. Yogi Blair was very communicative, prompt, and detailed with his responses about booking date/time, meeting time/location, and provided a lot of recommendations about other things to do and see in Sedona The beautiful hike was paired with an educational guide about the local geology, history, and lots of fun and informational tidbits. The yoga was grounding, the QiGong felt empowering, and the meditation with essential oils was calming. The entire afternoon was simply magical and I will carry everything I learned with me in my future practice. I highly recommend you include this experience with your visit!

I would HIGHLY recommend going to do Yoga in a Vortex in Sedona. I found the website and texted…read morethe number on a Wednesday to make sure they were doing an afternoon tour that coming Saturday. Yogi Blair texted me back right away and told me she would try to coordinate. By Friday morning she had us setup with a Yoga instructor/guide. We met our guide at the parking lot a little before 4pm on Saturday. We had the most amazing experience. We stopped in 3 different spots/vortexes. The first we did a small mediation. The second we did an offering to the land. And the third we setup our yoga mats and had the most amazing yoga/sound healing experience. I truly felt the energies from the land. We did the 2 hour tour and that was plenty for us, mostly yoga/mediation, just a little hiking, all amazing!!!

The event was everything we were hoping for and I would recommend to any friends visiting the area. Lance tailored the class to our group perfectly. We completed a scenic hike and practiced Hatha yoga on top of the stunning Red Rocks of Sedona. Lance kindly shared his knowlege of all things Sedona, gave us additional travel tips, and provided an invigorating and spiritually refreshing yoga session. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

I am rating the 5 day retreat. My mother and I enjoy hiking and yoga and thought this would be a…read moregreat experience. The first day our flight was delayed and we were running about 15 (!) minutes behind and, so, despite calling and telling them, missed their shuttle to the first day meet and greet. The next morning we went out on a hike. It was raining and very steep and slick and, at 5,000 feet, we needed to go slower. Finally, tired of being rushed and asking to slow down, I told them to go on and they did. (I have never been a guide myself, but having been on guided hikes I've found the leader usually wants to keep track of the people for whom they are responsible.) We found a less steep path and missed another group meeting, as they had it at the top and did not wait to meet back up with us (no flexibility.) It was raining and 40*F and we did not go to the outdoor yoga that day for that reason. My main reason for the low rating is that they were not prepared for inclement weather and were not flexible in any way. It was about 40* and raining the entire week. They did "manage" to get an indoor space at the Hilton Resort at Bell Rock for yoga, which led me to believe they actually have no affiliation with the hotel? However, it wasn't raining in the afternoons which is when we went hiking, instead of staying in and doing yoga then. I was disappointed, to say the least, and would not recommend this retreat, unless you can control the weather. I love Sedona and the Hilton at Bell Rock and have stayed there before and will stay there again. This review is purely for the Vita Pura Yoga retreat. I gave the second star, because I imagine if it was typical Sedona weather and not raining every day, the lack of flexibility would not have been an issue.

Allistar (excuse my bad spelling) did my massage and he was great 10/10 massage session. Super knowledgeable guy, very easy to talk to and you can tell he loves his job. I was also lucky to have Lisa take care if my facial and brow sculpting. She was very special and I was able to connect with her in the short period of time. Lisa took her time with my brows and it shows how hard she worked at getting my brows perfect. The spa overall was clean and the people who worked there were friendly. I'm grateful to have had such a wonderful experience. I've been to many spas so I know what I'm saying and I know what to look for. I'm you're it in Sedona and need a complete spa experience this is your place.

On the day of the reservation I tried to cancel due to severe weather including a unprecedented tornado warning and was unable to call the spa directly or get them through the hilton hotel that owns them due to their phone system not being able to take inbound calls. When they called me at my appointment time to understand if I was still coming, I explained that due to the severe weather warning including an unprecedented tornado, I and my friend would not be coming and that I had been calling them all morning to cancel but had been unable to get through. The person calling admitted they were having trouble with their phones but that they had a 24 hour cancellation policy and I would owe the full amount for the services. I asked her to speak to her manager about the situation and to call me back as I was unable to call them on their non-working phone system. Called me back and said we could either come that same day or I would have to pay full price for 2 services times two people. I explained severe weather warnings were still in place and that I would not be able to come while that was in play. They actually charged me over $1000 including 20% tips for services that were not provided and refused to be professional or reasonable.
