The hall is still nice, the food great and the floor staff is still lovely. However, they push the pull tab games so hard that it creates chaos, playing 2 different ones during every game. 2 prominent callers seem to have serious cases of attention deficit disorder, frequently talking over floor staff and sometimes interrupting themselves. Tonight, they paused the game to read door prizes and while listing the colors and numbers, said "I twenty", then kept reading the entrance tickets. Mumbles of "wait, I thought they paused the game" and general confusion ensued. 30 minutes later, they had to read them again as 5 out of 7 called never heard their number. This happens a lot. I'm young-ish with perfect hearing and I struggle to figure out what games they are playing. I can't imagine how many times people have lost a legitimate win because they didn't know what was going on. The intermission is 10min long, but they keep right on playing the pull tabs. No matter how much you've spent, if you have to pee, too bad, you missed it. It's not a break if you keep going. The proof of the decline is in the pudding as the hall was only half full this week, so the game prizes were lower than usual. Please do better as that was our 4th time where we spent a lot but didn't have fun. Looking at other halls for our next outing.

I want to let you know how embarrassed and humiliated and defamed at Community Bingo in Manchester by the incompetent, childish, unprofessional, and definitely uneducated woman that was working the cashier desk in the kitchen.  And please look at the cameras. My husband and I walked in about 15 minutes before the games started, went to get our bingo cards, then went to order a "well done" cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, mayo, mustard and a side of French fries. My husband ordered a hotdog and French fries. I had only a $10 dollar bill but the burger and fries were $14, the woman said just bring the 4 dollars back to me, I said thank you and proceeded back to my table,  When I got to my table to play bingo (mind you I spend over $100 on bingo cards)  I took one bite of the cheeseburger and saw "red meat". I politely returned with my whole tray in hand and said to the man that cooked the food "I cannot eat this because it's not well done like I ordered, he was very kind removed the patty from the bun placed it back on the grill and said I will give you another slice of cheese, I asked for him to replace the bun. He then said ok and I will give you fresh fries. There was no issue with the fries, but I would prefer to have my fries with my burger. I then ask where was the cashier so I could give her back the 4 dollars that I owed for my meal, he said she will be back in a few, she went to have a cigarette, just sit it by the register, and I will tell her you brought the $4 back. At this time bingo was starting, I asked him when should I come back, he said where are you sitting and I told him in the back room where the slots are, he said I will bring it to you. Which he did bring the burger, however he did not bring my fries. (again please see the cameras). The 1st game was cover all with 2 wild numbers 9 and 2. I saw one of the ladies that was selling pull tabs and aske her if she could do me a favor, and please let the man know in the kitchen that he forgot my fries. As I was in the middle of trying to dab my numbers.   Out of nowhere the woman cashier stomped over to my table and obnoxiously says "first of all anything that has to do with the kitchen has nothing to do with the women selling pull tabs, then she proceeds in front of all the bingo guests to tell me that I ate the fries and never retuned them. I replied I did return them, and she said you ate them, I then said to her "are you sure" and she said yes. I then said you were not even in the kitchen when I returned the burger and was told that I was getting fresh fries. She then says " we can go look at the camera, at this point I'm pissed, still holding my composure I follow her as she fast walks to the kitchen. We get to the kitchen and then the man who took my burger and fries back, says I'm not going to look in the garbage to see, I then say well I'll look. The cashier tells me I can't go behind the counter which is understandable, but I didn't pay $14 for a dam burger and fries, to not get my fries. The man was like just give it to her like I didn't pay for them. I said to the cashier you just went out there in the bingo hall and made an accusation of me eating some dam fries, after I told you I returned them, and again you were not there.  At that point I said I don't even want the fries, the man says you can give them to your friends at the table, Yes my friends that were here from Pennsylvania celebrating their wedding anniversary, and all they wanted to do was play bingo. I walked away and went back to my table. The man comes to my table and drops the fries and then walked off.   Going back to the pull tab lady that I asked to inform him that he forgot my fries, I stopped another pull tab lady thinking it was the same one that I had asked but it wasn't. And again this cashier walks back out to the table I am at, and again say the pull tab workers have nothing to do with the kitchen, I then tell her I was apologizing to the pull tab lady for asking her to inform the cook about my fries, but again the incompetent assumed, and that's exactly what I told her you are assuming, and we all know what happens when you assume things, yes she made an ass out of herself yet again. But that wasn't enough for her, she came back and started walking around the table I was at yelling "anything about the kitchen I don't care" I really don't know what her problem is, but I definitely know she has one as one of the pull tabs lady apologized and said its not you its her. I have never been treated this way ever. I'm seriously wanting to pursue charges. Someone needs to make this right I don't know if her issue is that I am a 51 year old woman of color and I work customer service also, She has no type of customer service skills at all. I would have asked for my money back because I didn't eat none of the food (check your cameras).

We already booked a room at a different location before we knew the MGM was there. We utilized our MGM cards (MGM really supports Veterans) for parking (did not have too as it was free-LOL). We parked, toured the casino, grabbed a sandwich and took advantage of the clean restrooms. We were at the Riverside park when it started sprinkling, so went back to parking garage. We found out they had a free party going upper level of garage with a cover band. We listened to the band, grabbed some food hot off the grill for a reasonable price and prepared to view the fireworks from the cover of the garage. Mother -Nature had other plans, weather turned nasty, band shut-down, and for safety we were moved to lower levels. We still saw the fireworks and exiting afterwards was not terrible. The Staff from Security to Food Venders were polite and helpful the whole evening. They saved our families 4th of July in Springfield.

The booking and check in process was smooth and easy. The front staff were very friendly on the phone and in person. They walked us around to show us the grounds. Our room was exactly as we expected so no surprise there. It was ready when we arrived, clean and stocked with the basics (towel, soap). We didn't have high expectations for a new/updated room as the photos are exactly how the room was. No fancy frills but clean and absolutely fine to stay in. The beds are not that comfortable but fine. The wall paper in farm house 6 was peeling a bit and wear and tear around the unit was present but we did expect the room to be outdated and didn't have any issues over all with the room. The main reason for our 3 star is really based on food, amenities, and grounds. As for food, do not have high expectations as it's very basic. I would rate it 2 at best, but it's all inclusive and does feed the mass groups. Our waitress the first night was awful, we didn't eat for almost an hour. She told us she was rusty and not ready for the groups yet. Little weird, but I guess she was being honest. The other night/day team were much better and more competent. One odd thing we did notice, food is not in abundance when it's put out for guests to grab. Once something runs out, it runs out. I'm all for not wasting food, that's very important but we noticed often food would run out (cookies, appetizers, and other items to grab-go). For example, the cocktail adults evening, majority of the finger appetizers ran out. Another night, they had watermelon for dessert and it ran out. Ultimately, we can't say we didn't eat, we did, some items just would run out and that was it in terms of offerings. Another concern was the indoor pool, it was freezing. Like unable to swim at all -cold- cold. I would think summer time the pools outside are much better, but we didn't try those as it was too early in the season (April). The toys on the main lawn near the sand pit and volleyball area are all broken and worn out. One of the swings broken and missing. The kiddie barn is broken where the kids play. The boats near the lake are all broken and dingy. I understand this place is more about family legacy and farm life, which yes is special, but most things I found are falling apart around the main lawn area especially. Just in general, broken or not cared for. I am not expecting anything to be brand new or perfect but they're run down. We did most of the kid events and the play doh was all dried out and the crafts very limited. We felt there could've been a few more kid friendly events going on (maybe a movie, more crafts, outdoor music/games, outdoor events). The activity staff seemed really uninterested when it came to many of the events too which was unfortunate. Rather than really engage the kids they often stood around. These are the main reasons for our 3 star review. The concept and legacy idea for families is awesome, but the upkeep just isn't there and not as much engagement as we hoped. I love being outdoors, and for my kids to enjoy their time outside and farm life but they need to clean up a bit here. A few things we did love, to be fair and honest, the farm animals, Pony Ride, Easter egg hunt, and magic show. They were fun and engaging. Also, my kids absolutely loved trying to get eggs from the Hens (despite the limited number, but that's not East Hill's fault, that's just kiddos who claim them all and run away before others get a chance to grab one from the Hens). I also had a massage, that's not East Hill, but their outside vendor they use in their main lobby. It wasn't very good. The lady was nice but the chair massage was not relaxing or enjoyable. She barely massaged me. I wouldn't recommend spending $20 on this add on. This spot has so much incredible potential if they just maintained it better. Such special memories for families to create here. I get leaving the rooms nostalgic and maybe the farm areas, but the grounds, toys, arts and crafts and a few other areas could use some upkeep. Unfortunately that's why this is only a 3 star from our family.

We arrived early to allow ourselves time to review the menu and order. We chose the Adam Sampler (loved the names). I figured if it's good we will know what to order next time. Sadly on the food side the only good part was the mozzarella sticks (AKA Wizard of Ozzarella Sticks). The chicken tenders were horribly fatty and uneatable, the fried pickles -- you couldn't even taste the pickle, and the pretzel sticks (were the only thing my son even bothered with) were just ok-ish. So lesson learned, stick with the traditional popcorn and eat before or after the movie. The movie itself was SO LOUD, it was hard to manage, I half thought it was just me so sadly didn't say anything. Only until we were washing up in the restroom did a bunch of people start talking about how loud it was. I really wish I said something sooner because they may have been able to fix it. The server was great, friendly and accommodating. The front end staff was also empathetic when I mentioned the volume issue on the way out. They definitely made me realize if I had come out of the theater sooner, they may have made an adjustment (however I am surprised no one working in and out of the theater noticed)
