Well we trusted him, he said he would add more details when it came time to tattooing. We should have ran! This was a horrible mistake. He was very heavy handed, I bled all night after getting it, luckily I have better artists back home to help fix this.

I got my zebra shark done by him in 2023 and it's not raised at all. You can run your hand over it and not even feel the ink. He was so attentive to the details and anatomy that I mentioned were very important to me. When I went in 2023 I was of course nervous but going this time around I had full confidence I was leaving with a tattoo I would love. I got a hammer head done by him yesterday to mirror my other shark and again, it was perfect. He took so much care to make sure I was happy with the design and was very meticulously on my placement so I'd get the perfect tattoo. Today I have no swelling and it barely hurts, you can also just barely feel the tattoo itself. Just overall he's a great artist and the shop is full of kind and vibrant people. He could not answer any of my questions - answered everything with "that is a personal preference" when I genuinely wanted his opinion. He would not listen when I was telling him where I wanted the exact piercing spot so kept marking it in the wrong place. Then to top it off pierced my ear with the needle sideways!!!! As pictured- the piercing right under the cuff. You can literally see the back of the earring from a front angle. I immediately removed the piercing and went somewhere else. Name Kierna or Kerria took no time in placing the intial markings ... I am kicking myself for not speaking up more ... I asked if they had a caliper she said "we usethat for these types of peircing" needless to say her holes are completely off. She did ask "how is that look the white markings to the mirror I said this one looks back more" she took no time at all on the placement .. I mean I was thinking she was going to fix this but once sitting down she went for it .. and here we are. I should have told her how where to place them but assume people know what they are doing. I was wrong. Chris however was great with my husbands tat..I just am surprised that this is what we get and got! The piercer never looked at them again to check her work nor did she asked if we were happy ... I mean when it's done it's done. My only child still learning as a mother but damn I bummed I didn't tell her how to her damn job. I'm pissed and there is nothing I can do but write this email. Visiting a tattoo shop getting all the necessary paperwork notarized etc I expected quality and got shit basically. After 1-2wks my nipple piercings were embedding because the barbells were too short and my nostril piercing started to sink because of poor aftercare instructions/post too short. I reached out to Torrie and she switched me out for longer barbells (for free) and told me my nostril looked fine. Unfortunately, the barbells were still too short and my nostril wasnt getting any better. I lost confidence in Torrie and decided to get a 2nd opinion at different shop. I was switched out for more appropriate length starter jewlery and received better aftercare advice than what Torrie provided to me, which was spray the piercings 3-5x/day and this caused my piercings to dry out so much it caused irritation bumps. Torrie also never educated me on the need to downsize jewlery after 6 weeks. (Which is probably why she put in too small barbells) If you're not experienced with piercings I would not recommend getting pierced here. I'm rating Torrie a solid 1 since she did a great job on placement however, her aftercare instructions were not clear and I truly believe if I had not went to a different shop for a 2nd opinion my piercings would have rejected.
