Update: I went somewhere else and got my rook re-pierced with an experienced piercer and high quality jewelry. Did not have a single problem with the piercing. It's a thick bit of cartilage so it did take about 9 months to heal but totally worth it. Learned my lesson! Don't cheap out on piercings. read more

I got a double cartilage piercing here in June 2021 by a female piercer. They were pierced at an downward angle so they were extremely irritated and swollen the first week. I called the shop and they told me to take ibuprofen but said I didn't need to put in longer posts. My ear was so swollen that the gems were going into my ear. After the swelling went down I was left with bumps that formed into keloids quickly. Recently I've had to remove both of them due to soreness and continued irritation. Now I'm left with nasty bumps on my ears. The jewelry quality is terrible. I have multiple other healed cartilage piercings and never experienced any issues. I've never been to a place that doesn't tell you the gauge or material of the jewelry. read more

AAI staff were not only professional about fixing it, they made us feel like we were friends for years. I honestly cannot tell you that I have seen any better customer service in any industry. She refused to come in on her day off even if I requested her months in advance. That is fine. Requested an appointment with another artist who would be there they told me no need to make an appointment to just come in. The day came and we did just come in they told us we should've made an appointment. I said I tried. They argued that it should've been in person not online. I said I tried! They said oh well. I got my nose pierced here on a whim while traveling with my sister, I wish I could remember his name but a tall guy with really long dreads helped me out and he was absolutely the sweetest. He knew I was nervous but he reassured me it would be over in a second, which it was! He talked to me very gently and sweetly without laying it on too thick like he was talking to a toddler, and it definitely helped ease my nervousness. I didn't get to pick my jewelry, but I was alright with it because it ended up being what I would have chosen anyway, which is a small diamond stud. After having the piercing for a while I noticed I never bruised, had any swelling or soreness, or excess bleeding. I've had the piercing for a couple of weeks now so it's still healing but honestly, if I didn't know any better, I'd think that I'd had it for months, it looks completely healed! (I'm still following the aftercare sheet but it just LOOKS healed, doesn't mean it is) they did a GREAT job!! I believe the price was $40, I paid $65-$70 after adding aftercare solution and a tip. Do not go here!!!!!! This place is horrible. I have many tattoos & this is the worst experience ever! I showed the artist I wanted an LIV tattoo. He just free handed it. After he was done he said "don't worry, it will look better when it heals. It's been 18 DAYS!!!!! First picture is what I showed him, second picture is right after and the 3rd picture that I actually took 3 days ago (so the tattoo was 15 days old). After trying to call, email, message, etc for days I got a message back "we don't do touch ups on hands or feet". I have other finger & foot tattoos that are years old and look great. But after only 15 days ?!?!?! I can't imagine All About Ink wanting their work to look like this. I agree finger & foot tattoos do fade, but not in 15 days AND the "V" is half missing. I first went to this shop because my septum piercing I got from another shop got infected and I wanted to switch it to titanium to heal. They quickly changed it out for me and only charged me $10 for jewelry replacement and it healed up great. Now today I go in cuz the hoop I've had on the side of my nose for 5 years is stuck! I wanted to change it to a stud and found out it hasn't been fully connected for years and is stuck in my nose. I tried to pull it out, got pliers and everything but couldn't get it out. Walked inside today and was immediately greeted by a very nice woman (I wish I woulda got her name) and she immediately took me back grabbed her tools and yanked it out for me. It had a ball on the side that was stuck in my nose which is why I wasn't able to pull it out. I asked her how much I owed her and she said don't worry. I wish I woulda had cash to give her I feel bad but they will forever have my business. Both times I had a great experience, I will go here for all my tattoo and piercing needs from now on and they're gonna get a lot of business from me lol. I got my second tattoo piece from this place. I was greeted immediately upon entering the establishment and my first impression was, Wow this place is Super Clean!! Not to mention a couple of flat screens, pool table, and air hockey to keep you or your company busy while the work gets done. Although I came in on a Saturday almost right after they opened, they seemed kind of busy. Angie was my tattoo artist and she was pleasant to work with. I presented to her my idea and we worked together to come up with something that would work best. My vision was to have a simple scroll with Psalms 23: 4,6 as the text. Angie advised on the best text and text size that would work with the area I wanted to have done. I felt very involved in the whole process and there was a lot of room to improvise on my part versus what the tattoo artist thought would work. Yesterday i planned on getting a simple outline rose, no leaves or anything. Just the flower. When i sat down on the chair to get tattooed, i looked down and the guy was tattooing leaves after i specifically said no leaves. But i let it slide. This guys name was "Zachary Sparrows." I'd rate 0 stars if I could. I went here to get a tattoo and two weeks later was practically gone. I've had plenty of other tattoos done in the past (not by this place ) and I've never had this issue. Turns out I was tattooed by an apprentice and was not informed prior too. When asking for a refund I was rejected and told I signed a waiver saying it was okay to be tattooed by an apprentice when I was in fact never given said form to fill out. Just recently myself and my husband went to Jason and to Kayleen and the quality of their work is amazing! I have A LOT of detail in my tattoo and the price was very fair for the amount of time that it took for Kayleen to draw and tattoo the it on me. The price was also very fair for the tattoo that Jason did for my husband. A few months ago Frank tattooed my son and his artwork is quality too! His price was also very fair for the size and amount of time it took. Also my daughter wanted to get her ears pierced to have a second hole and Josh was excellent with her. Well, three of us came in today as walk-ins, and three of us walked out without tattoos after our "consultations". As walk-ins, we were prepared to wait, so the 3 hour wait wasn't the issue. It was the three hour wait to meet a pretty rude "artist" who only wanted to do as much work as printing some clip art from the internet. They seemed super judgmental about what we wanted and were very uninterested in doing what we wanted. We all have tattoos, so we understand that as a walk-in you have to be open to the design..... but there was no design. There was no artistry. It was literally printed and traced google images. Over all it was an incredible poor customer service experience. However, they had Netflix in the waiting area so we got to watch Thor. Thor was great, 10 out of 10, would watch again. read more

(0 star review) I went into All About Ink yesterday looking to put some plugs back in my ears. After a couple years of them being out one was a bit smaller than the other. The two women there were very rude saying it would be $10 a taper. They tried explaining to me they may need to try all of them and I could pay up into the hundreds!! I asked if they would use a caliper to get a general idea but became very argumentative saying they don't have one or any type of measurement tool..... Lol I ended up calling a piercing place in Gulf Breeze the piercer there says (OVER THE PHONE) sounds like you're a size 0. I then went over to tit for tat, they charged me $10 no matter how many tapers they would use. Which only ended up being 1 taper because the man I spoke to on the phone was right about my bigger being a 0 and the other just needed to be tapered one size up. The wonderful ladies and owner at Tit for Tat are in shock of how awful they were over at All About Ink. These ladies were rude and money hungry. If you have any piercing needs and don't want to be robbed of all your hard earned money, head over to tit for tat!!! read more
