I receive a lot of work from various skilled practitioners and I am picky about who I return to. I will be going back as often as possible. When I arrived at Ann's studio I was feeling a little scattered and overwhelmed and abstract from hosting 50 people in my home the day before. I was also achey and tight from running stairs in prep for the event the prior week. When I left Ann's office I felt, centered, grounded and all of my achiness and tightness had disappeared. I woke the next day feeling fantastic. At 51 and many years in this business I thought I had a pretty broad view of techniques and specialties but I experienced several techniques with Ann I have never had before and really enjoyed them. Highly recommended for a first rate massage experience.

I had never heard of Mani Celesti and purchased a Living Social deal for an awesome price…read more I was able to make an appointment with Heather via email and received confirmation pretty quickly. I made my appointment at least a month in advance, so there was no problem being able to fit into the schedule, which was a relief. I also opted to add hot stone to the massage for an additional $15. Coming from the tech center, I did not allow enough drive time and subsequently, I was late for my appointment. I called Heather to let her know that I was en route and she advised that whatever time I had left once I arrived would be what I had available for my appointment. Although I was a bit disappointed, it was also my fault that I was late. Once I arrived, I found Heather outside waiting for me, as the location was a little hidden as the evening got dark. I hurried inside and was greeted with very relaxing music and a candlelit room. Heather led me inside and instructed me to get undressed and lay on the table and she would be back in a couple of minutes. I hurriedly got ready for the last 25-30 minutes of my massage. The hot stone massage was fabulous and utterly relaxing. Heather checked to make sure that the pressure/temperature was to my liking throughout our time together and I was most appreciative. She also gave me an extra 10 minutes of her time, which was not required, but also made me happy. I have already made an appointment to see her again. Definitely a great experience and Heather is an experienced massage therapy. The practice at Mani Celesti seems to be oriented towards prenatal massage and infant massage, which is fine, but not what I need. I enjoyed my massage thoroughly. Thanks to Heather and LivingSocial for making me aware of a great business.

After a spontaneous chat at a local restaurant, I learned the woman across from me is a 20-plus-year veteran of bodywork. Who has an office four minutes down the road. With exactly one available appointment the very next day. My ailing shoulder screamed in fated anticipation. Roughly 18 hours later, I arrived at her calming, welcoming space in Lakewood. We started with a thorough consultation, where I informed her of previous masseuse attempts to fix my shoulder situation (resulting in multi-day muscle spasms--fun!), and then I settled in for the best massage I've received in a long time. Like I said, body magician. She knows how to find what ails you and ever-so-gently coax it to recover. After an hour of deep Swedish, I sat up feeling at least 70% better in the shoulder and 100% relaxed, soothed and devil-may-care everywhere else. Then, it got better. I woke up to a beautiful blank slate the next morning: no pain anywhere. Kathryn is incredible at what she does, with storied bodywork knowledge, a relaxing bedside manner and the kindest of personalities. Enjoy feeling wonderful, friends!

My boyfriend bought me a Groupon here as part of my Christmas present. It took 2-3 weeks for…read moresomeone to get back to my emails/phone calls. After finding out the only one massage therapist accepted Groupon and that she doesn't work on the one day off, we attempted to get a refund through Groupon (this happened over the course of several months). Awhile later, Groupon informed us that they had contacted the therapists and were told that two therapists were now accepting groupons! I'm finally able to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately, I had to cancel it very last minute due to my boyfriend needing emergency surgery. I provided proof including date and time of the surgery to demonstrate that it actually happened. I blocked out all of the person info. Several weeks go by after I sent this email and numerous voice mails. I finally hear back from Jennifer saying the evidence wasn't sufficient, I should have reached out earlier while the emergency was going on. Then she tells me that they've had issues with me in the past and will not be accepting me as a client. Which, the issue was that they only had one therapist accepting Groupons... apparently I caused a problem by not making an appointment due to scheduling incapatabilities. She also was very upset that we had contacted Groupon and complained about not being able to reach her. She then asked me never to contact them again. Not once has she answered a phone call or voicemail. I have been trying to talk to her for the past two weeks, and she will only communicate via email. And that takes several weeks. I have never had a place treat me so poorly and will be going out of my way to make sure my friends and family don't visit this awful place.
