My husband and I live in the area and have visited and made purchases in Sacketts multiple times. Was in the store again today. The one consistency continues to be the young ladies (employees) who congregate at the register and are apparently poorly trained on the basics of just providing friendly customer service. I was in the store for at least 25 minutes. No one greeted me, asked if I needed any help as I'm trying on boots, or said a word as left. Not a smart way to treat customers. read more

Place was nice and clean. Great selection on clothing - men's and women's. Came in looking for a cowboy hat and Julie's help was wonderful. We didn't find the hat, but picked up two shirts! read more

I love this store! I've been buying beautiful boots and clothes here. Now that I have a farm I also come here for the great hay they offer and my dog food. I find they are pricier than others but I like my choices here. read more

I was supper stoked when I saw this store from the road side and man was I even happier when I walked in!!!!! This is truly a Western wear super store with lots of helpful and friendly faces to make you shopping experience that mush better. While looking for yet another pair of boots to add to my collection I ran into this sweet employee by the name of Mary who made my search that much more fun and helpful. Mary truly made my boot shopping experience that much better. She sat me down and helped me find the right boot all while ensuring the perfect fit. Her knowledge and expertise in boots is amazing and she makes it feel as if you were having a custom pair of boots made just for you. Needless to say I left the store a very happy customer and would have no problem driving back from Florida to visit her for my next pair of boots... Finally I left the store feeling like a million bucks in my new pair of boots all thanks to the love and great customer service from an awesome employee!!!! read more

They have the best price on dog food and cat food around, we feed our animals Taste of the wild. The also sell guns super cheap. Its my new go to gun store! My wife loves the western clothes, boots too. Great place to shop. read more

Wish I lived closer, GREAT store!!! Does the name come from owners named Sacketts? Just curious. My husband Tom founded the Sackett Family Association Website and researched the name, and others, for at least 25 years, long before he passed away 9 years ago. Just thought I'd share. Stopped in, looked around, may go back when they start selling guns. They were doing construction on the new gun area. Probably good cause it will give the guys something to do while the women shop. Might need some new boots cause I've been kicking a lot of stuff lately and they have boots. Might get some horse feed too. Don't have a horse but they have a lot of horse food. Might be cheaper to get some rabbits cause they have rabbit food too. If you need a big belt buckle and a plaid shirt cause your woman wants you to take her square dancing....they've got you covered. Wished they had mashed potatoes cause I need some mashed potatoes. read more

Nice store but some employees not too friendly. The younger female employees were friendly and helpful. However the middle aged woman was not the most friendly. She was curt in her responses and didn't appear to want our business. Good selection of western wear. Worth the drive to check out the merchandise. read more

I came here for the first time today after eyeing this business for several years. I convinced my husband to stop here on our way home from Georgia to Florida. The young girl working there was very friendly and asked me several times if she could help me. The other employees barely looked at me much less said hello. I located a pair of boots I really liked and I found a size that worked for me. I then proceeded to the desk to check out. I purchased them at a good price plus the 10% off March discount. I then secured the boots in my truck and went back inside to use the restroom. My husband and kids stayed outside. After I finished using the restroom I then walked outside as the same friendly young lady walked back inside to tell her boss that "they had a receipt, I saw it." I then asked my husband if she checked my receipt for the boots I purchased and he said yes. I promptly took my boots back inside to confront them about why they asked to see my receipt. I then learned some uninformed customer made the assumption that I was a thief and went to the desk to tell them they should check my receipt. Instead of checking with their employees before confronting me in the parking lot like I was a shoplifter, the manager also made the assumption that I was a thief and had her younger clerk check my receipt on the suggestion of a judgmental customer. I believe that was VERY bad business. Furthermore, if they are so concerned with retail theft then perhaps someone should post up at the door, check EVERYONES receipts and sign the receipt that it was checked. Instead they singled me out. Shame on you Sacketts! It was my first time in your store and what an impression you made. I won't be back. I had them refund my money. I no longer wanted to support a business such as this that took the word of a middle-aged female customer who evidently had nothing better to do but watch strangers at a western store and make assumptions about them. read more
