I don't think words could quite explain how happy I am to have found Sache, but I'll try. I wanted dreadlocks *forever*, and finally decided to go for it. I made the extensions myself and looked everywhere for someone to install them. When I called Sache, they (the owner and Kia - I hope that's the right spelling! - who was my stylist) were patient, friendly, and actually listened to what I was asking for. When I got to the salon, the whole vibe was very warm and friendly from start to finish. It's a group that obviously loves what they do, and that's just fun to be around. Kia, my stylist, was SO awesome...she was just as excited as I was about my dreads, which honestly made the experience a million times better. She did a PHENOMENAL job on the install (and it is a *really* tedious process that took over 4 hours), and she was funny, sweet - just a true pleasure to spend the time with. She's an artist who honestly does love her craft, and it shows. She's so passionate, and I could tell she was dedicating everything she had to making my dreads look flawless. I'm already excited to go back for my maintenance! Bottom line: Don't let the shortage of reviews fool you. This place is a gem. Go here, and you really won't regret it. read more

If I could give negative stars I would, I went there to get a lace wig installed, first it was $100 which sounds ok right, then $50 to bleach the lace, that was all understandable, but then I was charged for basic curl not a style but big curl to tame the hair for another $25. The worst part was the lady that did my hair was very nice, but had no idea what she was doing. She didn't cut the lace right and by the time I left the salon and walk tho my car the lace was already lifting and I, wanted to go back inside to get them to fix it but I was so tired and aggravated that I was there for over 4 hours and was so disappointed. I went home and took it off immediately, watched a YouTube video and did a much better job than what I paid $175 for, I would never recommend anyone to go there read more

BEWARE.... Please read entirely ... Pleasant experience with Ms. Jackson in March 2021. She installed a Malaysian Braidless Sewin and it lasted a few weeks. Typically they last a few months with a tighten every 4 weeks but in my case my hair was not strong enough to hold weight at the time so they came out. So Ms. Jackson explained to me to take proper care of my hair and suggested vitamins and because of taking her advice my hair grew and is so much stronger. It has been a whole 8 months and my hair is stronger and has no fall out. My cousin was getting married on the 18th so I decided to make an apt to get a new Malaysian braidless sewin so I could do a nice hairstyle for wedding. Unfortunately Ms. Jackson was not available so I made an apt with a newer stylist who has been there about a year now. It was a huge mistake!! More of a headache then anything not to mention I am out 700!!!!!! I had the sewin done on Sept 17 and it came out in just 4 days after wedding!!! Now they are supposed to last a few months. Now the first time I paid 125 for install of 6 rows and also for hair which I ended up being undercharged for. At that point I was so upset. The stylist Turricka agreed to see me to find out why. She decided to place the blame on product from the wedding causing slippage however the only product used was hairspray. Come to her surprise it was not the product it was a threading issue. Since I had to go in anyway I decided to remove the blonde highlight for a more brown tone. So i bought more hair to replace the blonde. After she reinstalled two rows re-threaded and tried to secure it she sewed in new color. She also failed to tell me till the end of service that I had extra pack of hair just about she could have used instead of me buying a whole new pack. Typically you need two packs of hair for Malaysian buy depends on client. So now I was out 425 from first service and hair and 225 for second service. At this point considering it was an installation issue for the second time at that point I should have been refunded. I left the salon that day with a scary feeling I would be back. Come to my surprise not even FIVE days pass and my whole Malaysian is loose and an entire track was now out of my head. See pics below...I was freaking at this point. I just spent a total of 700 on install and hair for it to fall out!!! I immediately contacted my stylist Turricka and also asked for the owner's number. I requested it be fixed asap and I be refunded for all services related to first and second and this visit at no charge. After multiple attempts to contact the stylist agreed to come in on the 27th and fix my hair yet again for the 3RD time. I spoke to the owner Kitwana and she tried to put the blame on me as the customer regarding the products used etc slippage. I get to the salon around 915 am on the 27th. I sit down in the chair. Turricka and the owner evaluate me say my hair is dry and actually the threading was incorrect the whole time so Turricka had go back in again and re thread to secure and re tighten everything and Kitwana had to train her again. Only Kitwana left Turricka to do fix the register issues because all the hair was rung up incorrectly the first two times which again was not the customer's fault. I blame the owner for not taking the time to train her employees properly on all ends. The owner Kitwana told me only 4 girls are allowed to do the Malaysian and she trained everyone of them. If that is the case, why did I have to go to the same stylist 3 times to fix my hair!!!!! At that point, the owner said she will fix it but all she cared about was money. When Turricka was done I had to go over to Kitwana the owner and tell her it was still loose and that my tracks were showing again. Instead of correcting the issue I walked out angry with visible tracks dry brittle extensions which were supposed to be good quality hair. I am so upset over this experience. At this point I am demanding a refund for all services from 9/17 and 9/22 as well as the extra hair I did not need totaling 293.00!! If I do not receive a refund I will be contacting my bank disputing charges and contacting BBB. Think twice!! read more

Only work with the owner of this salon. Do not visit the salon when the owner isn't there. To the owner - Please put a camera in the shop so you can see what is happening when you're not there. A stylist named Kay butchered my hair and insisted on charging me for it. I asked for a half Brazilian weave with a #2 haircut with clippers. The haircut was horrible - I had patches of hair missing and she didn't know how to fix it. I asked not to be charged for the cut so I could go to the Hair Cuttery in Grant Plaza and get it fixed but she refused and insisted on charging me $20. After about 5 minutes of back and forth - she took $15 off the bill. After all of that I still had to go to the Hair Cuttery to have the haircut fixed. They had to use a #1 to fix the cut because it was so uneven and I paid $18 plus tip for a second haircut that day. read more

I so appreciate Kay! She is a great stylist and very considerate of a clients time. She made my little girl happy with the micro bead technique and she looks great. I found this salon online and I was a little nervous but I am here to tell you don't be nervous about giving this shop and Kay a try. You won't be disappointed read more

My appointment was for 2 feed-ins AND I LOVED THEM! Ashley did an amazing job! The most compliments I've ever received on my hair!

Drove 40 min from Jersey to have Miss Jackson call me to say she won't be available until she has her tire fixed and no one else could take me. Ruined my day. read more

So long story short. I ended up getting burns on my forehead after getting my sewin done. Mind you also had to wait because the stylist LEFT for a hour and then came back to salon! Seriously horrible! I would give no stars but there regular hair lady is on vacation! read more

I've been a client at Sache for years now but my past few experiences have been terrible. A few months ago, when I showed up for my appointment, I was taken to my stylist, who is also the owner, to find another client inside. I assumed she was finishing up, so I patiently waited. I ended up waiting an hour before my hair was started. During my most recent appointment, I showed up and was told that I had canceled my appointment, which never happened. The stylist then told me that she double booked someone else so she'll do her hair quickly while the keratin was in my hair. The client showed up, and was in a hurry to leave, so my hair was rushed. When I got home and washed the keratin treatment out, the area where my hair was rushed, was still as curly as my natural hair. To make matters worse, I went during the covid outbreaks, and even though the staff wore masks, no one was covering their noses. I'm very disappointed with my most recent appointments, and will not be returning. read more

I was very impressed with my visit today! Kay was a wonderful stylist who seemed very knowledgeable about products that would be good for my hair. Everything went smooth from the moment I came in! The nioxin treatment felt wonderful on my hair and made it fresh and clean! And what is amazing is that it is a black owned salon that is less than 15 minutes from where I live. I can't wait for my follow up in two weeks. I will be recommending this salon to my friends and family!! read more

This place was great I was able to get a same day appointment and when I got to the shop it wasn't crowded I had to wait maybe 10 minutes and the owner got straight to me. The staff was friendly and I felt my sew in was reasonably priced. I just wish this shop was closer to where I lived so I could go more often. read more

They took me in at the last minute and did an amazing job. Kay was very informative about hair products and hair care! Thanks so much!

Sache Beauty Studio saved me for my wedding day!!! After my original stylist that was supposed to do my hair left without letting me know, I had no one to do my extensions two days before leaving out of town. I was referred to Sache by a friend and it was the best thing that could have happened!!! She did my extensions and they look amazing, natural and real! Her prices are amazing and her work is top notch! My hair is pretty thin so it's not the easiest to put extensions, but she made it work. Definitely will recommend this to my friends! read more

The hairstylist that did my hair had absolutely no idea what she was doing. I'm sure the owner is good, but her workers are amateurs. I was so excited to find a salon that specialized in African American hair in such neighborhood and she messed up my hair! I almost cried walking out. NEVER AGAIN read more

This is a great find! Chante hooked up my updo! I came in there with one thing in mind and it didn't work. I was ready to give up, but she was so determined and had me looking FIERCE and everyone LOVED the look!! Thanks so much! read more
