This time instead of exploring their packaged snack products I thought about how much room we have left in our car and flying it home so I decided against it. I did buy 3 of their small cup size Blue Bell dark chocolate ice cream- for all of us but the cashier gave only one spoon. It tasted so good I had hubs go get me a large size one since I didn't eat a normal lunch and it was past 5 pm. While I waited in the car with the grandpup. I wanted to find some Bucee items for Doc since she's been our road trip driver plus made all the arrangements for hotels, tickets to parks, dinner show, etc. We all got different things: hubs got small bags of jerky, Doc got her favorite brisket sandwich to share with her Frenchie, a sausage on a stick and 3 peach cobblers for each of us to try. I like the large amount of clean restroom stalls plus soap. The cone of warmed sugary pecans and cinnamon bites were a sweet snack- finally gone from the first Buc-ee's a week ago. Before leaving Doc had us take a selfie and a nice gentleman also took a couple for us too.

In fact, this location was the first time my sister Tiffany had ever been to one. She bought everything from fresh jerky and nuggets to souvenirs and brisket sandwiches. Definitely not your typical dry, flavorless gas station. This chicken is crunchy, tender, and juicy. It's very reasonably priced. I can't say enough kind words about Sunny and the kind customer, Alex that brought me gas. Sunny reached out to a customer, Alex (I'd post his last name but I didn't ask permission), at his store who graciously took time out of his own day to bring me gas where I was stuck on the highway. He did not have to do that; nor did Sunny have to ask anyone. There wasn't anything in it for them. They both showed their true kindness and are people that work to keep human kindness moving forward. I'm not in Lockhart very often but will definitely go to this gas station when I need gas or a drink.

I was impressed by the modern interior, cleanliness, spacious aisles and the cold beer vault. The store basically sits in a residential neighborhood. If you're in the mood for some fried chicken or pizza they do have a kitchen which serves that up. They do have a small table inside and two more outside in case you'd like to dine there. Their gas prices were reasonable and they also sell propane tanks. This store is definitely worth stopping at and the photos below confirm it.
