Walking in was the smell of disinfectant and looking around it seemed really clean and sanitized practices. I love that she used hard wax. I find that a rarity and but my wax was so clean. I didn't really notice the pain or discomfort since it was so minimal compared to other waxing I've done. Even as it grew back in I had no ingrown hairs and I swear it grew back slower. Waxing is incredibly tricky with black skin as the hair is coarser and ingrown hairs and hyperpigmentation are a concern. So if you can wax black hair well you can wax any hair well. I have had waxing done for over a decade at various establishments but here I really saw the difference highly skilled and knowledgeable specialist makes here.

The lady who did my face was very kind and considerate. Since I have sensitive skin, she gave me a peel with 20% and she would ask me very often how I'm feeling and whether the peel was . The "peel" doesn't hurt. It's more like a thin cream applied on your face that tingles like if you put lemon juice on your face. It didn't (and shouldn't) burn. And since mine was 20%, it wouldn't leave my face peeling, but would make it smooth instead. Whole process only took about 10-15mins. Would come back here again!

I've had IPL treatments in the past at other places and never felt they were very effective. But my dermatologist was recommending a combination of IPL and microdermabrasion to combat redness I've been experiencing from rosacea in the past few years. So when I saw the Groupon for IPL at an actual laser clinic, I figured I'd try it out. My initial package was for a series of four treatments. Most places suggest a series of 4-6 treatments, and this clinic was no different in that regard. Where they do stand out from other clinics, is in the quality of the service provided. During my first appointment, I noticed a big difference in the whole experience right away. The technician really took her time to look at my skin and discuss my concerns, and she really seemed to want to help me. Other places I've been to in the past have done treatments, and then quickly moved on to up-selling on products or additional services. At LS Laser Clinic, I've felt like the end result is just as important to them as it is for me. They do carry the Dermalogica line of skin care, but I've never been pushed to buy anything. I will likely purchase the calming gel, though, as it's very soothing after IPL. If you've never had it done before, the treatment feels like a rubber band snapping against your skin. Actually, more like a rubber band made of molten steel. Just kidding. I guess it depends on your tolerance level, but I've had IPL treatments in other places that could be described as mildly uncomfortable at most. But here, it's pretty intense. Maybe the equipment is better, or the treatment is more thorough than other places, I don't know. But for me, it's quite painful and my face is usually puffy and quite red after. While the redness goes away within an hour or two, the swelling can last for a couple of days for me. I have quite sensitive skin, though, so my results may not be typical. So it's been several months since I started going here and I'm now on my second series of treatments. I waited to write a review until I could see serious results. While I could see drastic improvements after my 3rd treatment, I knew it would be better to wait at least until my 6th treatment to really see a change. I honestly can't believe the difference in my skin since my first appointment. The technician, Faezeh, took photos in my first appointment and it's amazing how much better my skin looks - both skin tone and texture - since that first visit. I still have two more sessions, but I'm absolutely thrilled with the improvement so far. I highly recommended LS Laser Clinic to anyone who is looking to improve their skin using IPL. I left not knowing what the results should look and feel like, but now that I've gotten a bunch of Brazilian sugars done (with another business), I can confirm that my experience with Sugar Me Spa was not great. I still had a lot of hair that hadn't been "pulled" out by the sugar, but I thought that's how Brazilian waxes were as it was my first time receiving one. It looked like I had shaved quickly and didn't bother to go over a second time to get all the remaining hairs. It didn't bother me as I trusted the process and was planning to book with Sugar Me Spa again once time came. Their online booking was extremely inaccurate in regards to the times and/or dates available for services. I booked my second appointment, only to be texted that the establishment was closed during the time slot I had chosen and I had reschedule. I wasn't able to reschedule, so I cancelled it instead. I booked another appointment 1 month later (with Jasmyne as I already dealt with her my first time around), through the same online system. I received another text a week before my appointment stating Jasmyne was not working during the date and time I had chosen. I was offered different dates and times to reschedule, however, time was too tight to reschedule. I asked if another aesthetician could provide the service, to no avail. I rescheduled my appointment 1 month later (with Jasmyne) in August 2019, only to be texted that Jasmyne couldn't make it to work and was asked to reschedule again... Overall, over a span of 4 months, I went once with mediocre results. Their appointment booking service is extremely hectic and inconsistent.

As a contractor, she has no responsibility towards you as a client. You do NOT get a consultation from her because she does not speak or understand English well, or she pretends not to understand you. It took me over 2 years to get up enough courage to get my eyebrows done. I was shown pictures of Azita's work, but now I have to wonder if those pictures were pirated from other sites which perform microblading. I told her specifically what I wanted for my eyebrows, she snapped back that it was what she would be doing. She proceeded to draw an outline of the shape for my eyebrows. My husband told her that they were uneven. So much for her being a make-up artist. She visibly showed her irritation and proceeded to rub at the outline to fix the shape. Eventually, the outline looked okay and she proceeded to cut my brows. Please understand that someone is cutting into your skin with a blade and it hurts. Your brow areas are red and swollen, so it is difficult right after the procedure to determine how well the job was. As a fair and reasonable person, I waited till the recovery period was over before returning to the spa with my complaint. Please see the picture of my eyebrows. It is clear that Azita did not keep within the outline that she had drawn. My right brow is lower than the left, the left brow has an peaked arch while the right brow has an almost flat curve, both brows are thick and patchy. I get strange stares, and friends and family have asked me what happened. I went to other salons to see if they could fix my eyebrows, and all of them told me that I have to wait till they fade before they will touch them. Dory tried to force me to do a second session with Azita to fix her botched work. But seriously ! Would you want someone who has given you uneven, lopsided caterpillars to have another go at messing up your face ! My husband went with me in the morning to ask for a refund. We got some yarn from Atty about how their debit machine cannot process refunds. She said we would have to return at 5 PM when her daughter Dory will be there to process our refund. I specifically asked her to confirm that she will be refunding the full $1,072.09 that was charged to my credit card. Atty responded 'Yes', but she needs Dory to process the refund. We returned promptly at 5 PM to be told by Dory that she will not give us a refund for the microblading because she had to pay Azita, and Azita will not agree to the refund. So, you decide. Do you want to take a chance with this spa and Azita? It will cost you your looks and your money ! UPDATE to address Dory's Response: Dory, you clearly have no shame or dignity. But that was so obvious last night when you ranted at, threatened, and bullied me for one-hour-and-a-half.
