I loved this local Lesbian bar.
It's a bit of a way out from all the hubbub and for a non local to wander around at night trying to find it - it was a bit of a pain - but hey ho.
From the outside in Saarins is a good traditional pub with a few quirks thrown in. The bar staff were wonderful and friendly and like everywhere else wouldn't let us try the language.
The actual bar area is a perfect reception for getting a drink and meeting friends. A little further in and a few steps down is a separate but visible room which was a bit excitable and raucous - so we didn't brave that. But there was also a balony, upstairs area where we settled. A great platform to people watch people coming in and out of the bar and a quieter alternative.
The music (as with all music in the gay bars in the city I found) is so dodgy! Hilarious covers of cheesy songs - like Love Boat or pretty much anything by Steps - but cheesier, camper covers.
The musics not too loud, the beer is good, the atmosphere is great and I only wish this place existed in London.
