The teachers I have had have all been excellent and perfectly bilingual and so kind and friendly. They are great at making you feel comfortable and also at making sure you really understand the information. The cars are hybrid and clearly marked as student vehicles and they are all in great shape. The location is excellent for driving classes, you can spend time in chill residential streets and easily work up to St Catherines, even the Decarie and the 20. They even have a driving simulator which you can basically use as much as you want if you are registered there for more free practice. I feel way more at ease driving than I ever have before, but I'll update you after I take the rest. Wish me luck on my pending adulthood! (I'm going to take like a thousand more classes though, so don't hold your breath.)

You just can't find anybody in that NDG Office, just close it since there is no one to pick up the stupid phone for any inquiries. We paid the full package of the course for my daughter plus additional one for extra driving classes because the driving practice is not enough in the regular one. She failed the practice exam because she was lacking basic knowledge in a lot of areas that were not covered. I had to find a different competitors company and pay 4 more classes of driving so she could pass the exam, and she did pass the exam. She said that there is a huge difference between the teachers and how they worked with her. The Omega teachers just don't care, they are not helpful at all, and they don't even provide any useful tips for the actual exam. The other place offered much more personalized service, and they actually cared and wanted her to pass! It is just one big waste of money. I wasted mine, please don't waste yours!

I…read morehaven't been to other schools to tell you the difference, but I was very happy with my experience at Morty's. 1. I passed my closed circuit exam from the first attempt and on a rainy day!!! 2. The office staff Orin and Galit are very friendly and easy to deal with 3. The motorcycle instructors at Morty's are amazing, they really are what makes Morty's a great motorcycle riding school. What's great is that each staff member has their completely different personality than the other, and they are all great instructors, funny and respectful. They WILL all be tough on you, otherwise you will never learn. They WILL never take shortcuts and make you risk your life ( driving a motorcycle is nothing to be taken lightly), and if needed they WILL NOT let you go on the road or pass the course until they are sure you are apt to ride. They let me on the road right after the 16 hour block but I decided to take extra lessons before going on the road as they showed me how important it is to stay safe, before anything else. Phil, Townsend, Melanie, Scott, Gerard, Chris - all great instructors...I really thank you guys for the great experience and looking forward to my Open road training next summer :))))

This might not seem like a big issue, but it DRAGGSSS on the amount of time that you are in driving school because it books up so quick. You are waiting minimum a month for an in car. Also on the theory calls, the Morty's Rep (Alex) is such a pain. I would go to any other school just to avoid her. She is not understanding at all and you will make the smallest thing she doesn't like and she will kick you off the call costing you 50$ and making you redo the class. If you see her in your call RUN.

I decided that I would invest in some additional practical classes close to home to try and get my confidence where it needed to be to really nail my exam. My first six hours behind the wheel were spent with Ali whom I'm convinced was born a driving instructor. That guy has the patience of a saint and is just generally a pleasure to learn from. I owe my confidence and skill behind the wheel to him. I followed up the first six hours with a three-hour session with Mr. Rashid (the owner) where we drove to the Dorval SAAQ to run through everything that could go down for my exam. I highly recommend getting this three hour crash course (no pun intended), as Mr. Rashid was super helpful and definitely got me in the right head space for my exam. You'll be happy to know that afterwards I passed my exam on the first go, with several really positive comments from the examiner on the quality of my driving. Thanks Safa! I did not take any of the theory with this school, since I had done it elsewhere, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone needing the full SAAQ course. I docked one star because there are some serious inconsistencies between instructors when it comes to the basics of driving: I think that they could work on ensuring that the same message is being communicated across staff, but that's really my only gripe. Oh also, the Rashid family was consistently a delight to work with throughout this process. You guys are great at what you do.

I decided to book some classes up here, near where I'd be taking my test at Henri Bourassa. I had no problem booking lessons with the friendly helpful staff over the phone, and was happy to see how close the office was to the metro when I popped out at Henri Bourassa in the freezing cold. I can't speak to the theory lessons, but the rooms seem clean and they get nice light up from their second floor vantage point. The instructor I have here is very kind and very diligent. I prefer the instructors at the CAA-Québec - École de Conduite just a little bit, mostly because when I started I was quite nervous and the instructors there give a lot of positive feedback that's helpful to me. Perhaps the instructor up at Tecnic knows I'm closing in on my test, because he tends to be more quiet and observant and saves notes for the end. Personally I'd rather have someone telling me I'm doing a good job at all times everywhere, but I get that the world, and especially driving tests won't always work like this. So I'm a fan of this school and this teaching style. It's giving me more confidence and independence and I'd definitely recommend it.
