The portion was plenty and it was served with a side of lemon, chili and cilantro, although it was on the spot with spiciness already without. Usually it comes with Thai basil but I guess it's hard to come by here. I didn't mind because I love cilantro anyway. The service was good and friendly. There's a nice outdoor seating area and they do take out as well if you call in your order in advance. If you come with a big group of people it's probably better to reserve but it was not super packed and you can get a nice table even on a Friday evening. Over all I can totally recommend it.

Thana Asia is a takeaway restaurant with clean brightly lit dining area. The service was really friendly, and the moment I walked in, I was presented with a menu in English. I guess my Hallo didn't sound German enough! I've never eaten Vietnamese before, so I took the opportunity to sample a Vietnamese starter and pork-based main course. I had to wait about 15 minutes for my food to be ready, but when it came it was an absolute delight. If all Vietnamese food is this good, I shall have to find a restaurant a bit closer to where I live. There was a family with two young kids and a toddler, and the toddler was getting restless and starting to cry. Without being asked, the waitress brought the family a laptop-like electronic game for young kids, and all three kids remained silent and entertained, and the adults were spared the wailing of a restless toddler. The bill was very reasonable too, so I really have nothing to complain about. If I was to make one remark, it would be that the restaurant is not very cosy and lacks any kind of atmosphere. Informal dining only here!
