Overall, a lovely Persian restaurant, nestled inside the Mall of Scandinavia (where the main…read morecluster of restaurants are), with a nice vibe and good food. I really love the decor on the walls, and the staff were generally friendly. Typical of this style of restaurant in Sweden, order at the counter, get a buzzer thingy, and go back to get the food when it's ready. Kitchen generally moved at a good pace. Bathrooms: I didn't see any; likely just use the mall ones.

This is my first time in Sweden and first time away from home during the holidays. I visited this…read morerestaurant today because I saw it on a list of best places to have Christmas dinner in Stockholm. The article said I would have a traditional Swedish Christmas dinner here, but the menu only had Persian options. Initially when I walked in the host's greeting was a little off but I figured she must be tired. After I was seated, I took my time looking through the menu. Another woman came and took my order (didn't not seem to friendly, but I shrugged it off). The food came out about 5 mins after I placed my order, I thought that was very quickS now my review is more so for the service and not the food. The food was okay, I've had better Persian food, but the service was absolutely unacceptable. I finished eating and waited for the waitress to come check on my and provide me with the dessert menu. Not once did she check on me while I was eating. I made several eye contact with her after I finished eating and she never came to my table. There were other White customers who came in after me and I noticed she was more attentive to them. 30 minutes went by after I finished eating and at this time I've made eye contact with her at least 20 times. She walked up to a table of White customers after me and spoke to them then left. Then she walked right back to the table and provided them with a dessert menu and cleared their table. Still I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt. 10 minutes passed by and I decided this place isn't worth giving anymore of my time and money to if this is how they treat Black customers. So as I gathered my belongings and walked down to pay and waiter hurried up and rang me up. He didn't ask me how was the meal or if everything was okay, nothing! He just asked if I'd like my receipt. Not even a Merry Christmas! And the waitress just walked passed me. What's worse is I am middle eastern and I know had I showcased that they would have treated me better. I am not sure if this restaurant isn't used to Black customers, but I definitely do not recommend this establishment for any person of color. As my time I'm Sweden has been great so far, so I won't let this experience ruin the entire trip. Overall for the low quality of the food, especially the lamb and the prejudice I have encountered, this place is not worth it! Stay away Black and brown people! One is for the ambiance.

However, having been here a few times the meats used in the 'djuje' (chicken kebab skewer) are not of the same quality of that of the dinner (and for this they get 4 stars). If you go for lunch and aren't turned off by red meat you should get the 'kobideh' (spiced ground beef skewer). I have noticed no difference in quality between lunch and dinner. Also, their 'doogh' (similar to ayran) was very tasty and free with lunch. Dinner is a different experience. Everything is more expensive. In fact, too expensive for what you are getting (around 400-500kr) for two people. That said though, this is by most accounts, the best Persian food you will come by in Stockholm
