If you have scrap metal, you can turn it into cash at SA Recycling. They accept steel, aluminum, copper, tin, appliances, junk cars, and other scrap metal. SA has 130 locations in 16 states. I have previously been to their Davie location and this is their Pompano Beach recycling center. To sell your steel metal, go up the driveway and have your vehicle weighed. They give you a slip of paper with the weight that you have to be careful not to lose. Pull to the back and unload it where they tell you, Go back and have your vehicle weighed again. They give you another slip with the weight of your materials. Go up to the cashier and turn your slip into cash at their ATM machine. The line was long today in the hot sun and it didn't help that someone took forever to argue with them. You must have ID and give your thumb print to sell to them to prevent people from stealing and selling to them. An hour later I was covered in mud but I had cash in pocket and cleaned up the no longer needed steel from a building that is getting ready for sale. If I could give no stars, I would. We took a 26,000lb old tractor there and were told we would get .06 cents/pound but after it was all said and done, they ripped us off about $500.00 clear as day on the ticket. I won't be bringing anymore trucks, metal or equipment from my storage yard. They will never get any business from us or anyone in the business for scrap that I personally know. read more

This is a company that will scam you I shipped this company Several thousands of pounds of copper wire on my scale I had copper wire and when I video recorded them placing my copper on the scale with tractor and did not give me a tare weight of the tractor on 3 big loads full of copper every and kindly asks the management Shawn and nick to please weight the 938m Caterpillar empty they told me to come back on Monday and gave me the Excuse That their tractor was overheated and the motor would not start back up Knowing I had a flight back out of the country the Following day and I would not be able to see them on Monday this company has stolen from me I have video Evidence Certified weight from the shipping companies and also certified weight before my copper was loaded on the crowley 40ft flat rack I will pursue criminal charges and I will have my day in court I did not sign my bill of sale and I do have proof of this scam you people should be ashamed of your self scam scam scam Beware SCAM!!!
