I called before I came and spoke with Sharese she told me how much copper brass and number two copper was at the Pompano location they wouldn't take a scrap backflow even though I have a plumbing license. After scrapping I got the amount that they told me which is really low from what I'm used to getting a year and a half ago so during my thumbprint looking at the camera signing their pad I simply stated you're afraid of catching the coronavirus if I get paid what I'm supposed to get paid I guess. The lady got really nasty told me that she was going to give me a check she told me to don't say that and I mean aggressive voice and I can't say anything that she don't like because it won't get me nowhere. then I said I don't want to wait three days and get a 10w-9 the lady's got a liberal sounding voice and a real nasty attitude. Go to powerline scrap metal instead...I called in the morning to verify the price per weight was told to come to the location and discovered they were repaving the front drive. They guy at the gate told me they were closed but having just spoke to someone on the phone i tried anyways talked to the desk they asked if i called the right location so i called the number again and it rang on the desk. The staff then tried to locate a heavy set guy they presume told me to show up. Finally was told again they were closed (when listed shows open today) and dont even take smaller amounts (30 lbs). I recieved no help, lack of communication with the office staff, and unprofessional. If i were you i would go to powerline scrap metal. read more

Shady business. I asked the secretary if they accept old electronics, and was told they pay $0.20 per pound. I brought in 75 lbs. of computers and printers, and an employee dropped one printer and computer onto the cart, shattering them into multiple pieces. The foreman then told me that I don't have enough material to pay me $10, although I was supposed to receive $15. He told me I could take back my newly-created junk pile, or leave it with them, which I ended up having to do. I left empty-handed, and wish I read the other reviews before coming here. read more

Jessi James used a gun these guys use a scale and LIE I went in to sell an old boat propeller it is mag/brass clean the guy in the office told me $ 1.40 per pound I brought it out back to the scale and the guy out there said it's magnetic there by it's dirty brass 50 cents a pound. I do not know how they stay in business unless their customers aren't paying attention. read more

Best scrap metal place around! My number one choice every time I had a load of scrap I want to take in for some cash! Everybody is always very polite and friendly over there, Gabe the way Master, is always conducting himself in a professional manner. I don't know the other person's name, but the black guy in the way back that direction me to wear up to unload my scrap is always seriously friendly very helpful and extremely professional I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. read more

Scam artist . I called and they told me they pay 5 cents a lb on metal . I droped off 3720 lbs and they only paid .0425 cents a lb . I should have got $186 they paid $158.10 and they kept the .10 cents also . Not honest people . Wont do business with these guys again . read more

yea they got me , scamming is what they do... dont believe the guy on the phone about how much for clean aluminum.... steve said 50 cents / lb and when u get there its 30 per lb... they are lucky that i didnt look at reciept until i got to cashier and im sure alot of people get ripped off by these low lifes. i think they need the $$$$ more than i do but do not waste your time or money going to this dump.... read more
