This company has left one of their truck in our neighborhood or no less than 3 months. We get to see this eye sore truck every single day due to a mechanic that delights in leaving cars in the street. This guy shits where he eats(SA MOBILE MECHANIC)and SA RAINMAKER is just here to make this situation worse. they don't care about any neighborhood and whose they may be messing up. Installation was great and quick. Wound up having to pay $800 more due to a clerical error based on an estimate I did not agree to (I signed and agreed to a different estimate). This was my second install with this company, but I will not be doing business with them any longer. read more

I have been a loyal customer for SA Rainmaker for many years. I have referred numerous clients to them through my career as a Real Estate Agent but honestly, I don't know what's happened to this business. I admired them as an outstanding contractor for sprinkler service. i called them recently and they gave me an appointment a month and a half out, which I unwillingly took asking them if they had a cancellation to call me because my grass was yellow in some areas. The day of my appt a month and a half later, they called and said they were running behind and had to change me to the next day. The day before my rescheduled appt, Jamie in their office called at 5 pm and left a message regarding my appt the next day and said to call her. When I called after hours (of course), I was asked to leave an Access Code. What access code? This is the not the same company i worked with many years ago, admired, and referred to other clients. They have no clue what good customer service is anymore and think putting off clients is the new norm. They can obviously not remain in business with whoever is at the helm of this company that thinks this is OK to do with your base clients who helped build your business. I am done. read more

After accepting their bid they showed up promptly and did an amazing job installing 3 Monterrey oaks and our drip irrigation system. I do not recommend SA Rainmaker because they left me hanging... we are going on 2 weeks and STILL have not got a call from them for a time to get our Irrigation system fixed. It's been over a month since they came out to look at the yard. I am very disappointed because I got the recommendation from Horizon they had been in service for so many years and were reliable. Left me VERY disappointed, however I did call Superior Irrigation & Lawn and they came out 3 days after I called and fixed the heads in the lawn as well as added what we needed in the flower beds! Which did a great job and I am glad they were able to help me. 2 stars because they took time to come out to my house and called me to tell me the prices of what needed to be done. read more

We waited 8 days for our appointment and then SA Rainmaker did not honor their commitment. I called at 1 pm asking about a status and was assured they would be here soon. They waited until 3 pm to let us know they couldn't keep the appointment. Not going to reschedule with them. Will start over and find someone else. read more

I have used SA Rainmaker on numerous occasions to fix my sprinkler system that was installed by a mediocre sprinkler company that has since gone out of business. The folks at SA Rainmaker have fixed everything and brought my system up to speed. SA Rainmaker actually does make is rain - I highly recommend. On time service calls at a reasonable cost! read more

They converted some of my sprayers to a drip system and moved some sprayer heads to make it more effective...I can't even tell they did anything! I recently hired SA Rainmaker to install a sprinkler system on my front, back and side yards. They did a wonderful job! Their customer service from beginning to end was great. When the owner Will stopped by to give me an estimate, he was the only one that took the time to draw on a piece of paper the entire area and show me exactly what was going to be done. I had talked with 3 other companies before him. The job was done in a timely manner and everything was cleaned afterwards, the supervisor Mike was wonderful too. I was a little skeptical after reading a few not so good reviews here, but I'm so glad I followed my gut and hired them. I'm very satisfied and I highly recommend their services! read more

Absolutely disappointed! I scheduled my appointment 3 weeks ago, my lawn has been dying ever since. I called a week and a half ago to let them know that I was rescheduled to work on my appointment day (today) and had to leave for work by 12:45pm and they said they would schedule me for the morning. I just called to see how far out they are and they said my appointment was the last one for the day and that they can reschedule my appointment...another 3 weeks out. So when they screw up, they don't fix it, they make you wait another 3 weeks as your lawn dies! Extremely disappointed in their service and their unwillingness to fix their mistakes! read more

Absolutely horrible. Planted weed infested grass, didn't fill in the trenches created by the irrigation lines, the trees that they planted never grew. When the trees were dug up, I found out they planted the wrong types of trees, during the wrong time of year, in a hole too deep, too narrow and poorly prepped. I paid to have landscape barrier laid and they only laid it in some areas. When I called to complain they offered to come spray the weeds. They didn't stand behind their work and their customer service was terrible. Don't waste your money. I wasted over $5575 of mine. read more

SA Rainmaker installed my sprinkler system over 10 years ago , never had any issues with them before today . A few months ago I was needing my system repaired and they sent out and older man who literally did nothing other then replace the sensor in the first 10 min and messed around on the property doing nothing for about 2 hrs. I then called the company when they sent me an approximate 279.00 bill and told them it was not fixed still. I also spoke to the Owner and his name is Bill about the funds they said I owed for a job not done . He still charged me 97.00 of the 279.00 for sensor which I paid and was ok with since he said he would have someone else come out and look at the rest of repair job that needed done. I had been with this company for so many years I figured that I would just pay it and get the help . So a few weeks later they sent out a young man named Chris. Chris immediately tried to offer me the job to do the repair on the side telling me the company would charge me more then what it was worth and he would charge me less on the side. I ended up booking the repair with SA Rainmaker Directly not through him personally . I waited a few months to get money together and then called the actual company to book the repair needed. They sent out the same man Chris to do the work, he buried a new wire electrical line around the property and in few days I noticed that there were electrical wires exposed. I called the company to come and properly bury them. I then I had two more incidents in the last few weeks where I found more wires exposed so I called again on Monday September 17th 2018 and spoke to lady upfront again. I believe her name starts with a J like Janis she very rude and has been since the first call to them in the past few months. I told her that I needed it done right and that I could not be here all the time waiting for them to keep coming out to fix something that was not done properly to begin with this was third time for wire exposure . Wires exposed will be eaten by my weed eater and ran over by lawn mower in areas that have the grass, as well as the weed eater in the stone areas. When I had first called her about the wires a couple of weeks ago, she was trying to tell me that I had asked them to not bury them deep because it would cost to much money,that was an outright lie. I told her that was never said and would never have my property repairs done halfway. I have a lawn man who would then hit the wires and break them. That was her excuse for a job not done right by the company. What was I going to pay 250.00 for if they were going to leave wires exposed. Anyhow when i spoke to her this last time on Sept 17th she set up a third visit to have the repair done correctly on Sept 18th 2018 . They sent out Chris and another young man who had been here before they arrived about 9 am to my home. I went out to unlock gate and show them where the wires were at and that was when I was verbally assaulted, threatened, yelled and cursed at on my property. Chris went on to say to me "why did I call them and have them come out for such petty repairs and that I had them coming back and forth to many times" , and I said, I have to have the wires buried properly because I have a lawn man. He said my lawn man was an idiot if he thought that he had to weed eat rock areas I said well not all of the exposed wire is in rocks . And there are weeds in rocks and I dont babysit my lawn man. He then started to yell and curse and said that me calling was fking Bullshit while yelling at me and slamming his shovel to the ground wile verbally reprimanding me. I felt very scared and uneasy so I started to walk away to head into my home and asked him to please stop yelling at me. He then said what are you going to do about it if i dont, like he wanted to fight a woman .. He wanted to render me powerless on my own property . I was abused verbally more then I can explain in writing. I could sense his violence anger in his words and body language. I went in home immediately locked door and called the company asked for Bill the owner or a manager the same front end woman answered the phone and she was very rude to me. I told her that I was physically ill and that this was no good for me to be stressed out. She went on to tell me that I was cruel for saying I was ill because her father died of the same illness I have. I mentioned to her that I am the customer and sorry about her dad but this is a customer issue. When I first called I asked to speak to the manager & she said she was the only one in the office. What type of company does not take into account having a violent man on someones property to do repairs, and then when I call blowing me off like they have the right to act whatever way they want and complain about their own issues. In no way was I made aware that I had to have my guard up because I was going to be verbally attacked and yelled at by an angry man holding a shovel. read more

I live in an area that has very large yards. I contacted 4 lawn sprinkler companies: 1 didn't show up, 2 spent 10-15 minutes on property, but Mr Bedford of SA Rainmaker listened to what I wanted then spent almost 1 1/2 hours walking and mapping out what would be needed to accomplish what I wanted. He then explained everything to me in non-professional language so I could understand and showed me the equipment that would be installed. His pricing was quite reasonable for what I was asking and even less than the 2 other companies that just glanced at my yard. His crew was out as soon as the permit was issued and they spent a solid 12 hours working one day then finishing the job the next morning. Then a team foreman explained the electronic scheduling board and how to set it. As soon as the inspection by SAWS was accomplished, a workman was out to cover everything that had been required to be inspected. I have since called with questions: the two ladies managing the office either answered my questions or had someone call me in less than an hour. I also asked that someone come out and adjust one sprinkler head - it was done at no extra charge the very next day. Never have I been treated so well with so few problems or questions than SA Rainmakers. BRAVO! read more
