Dr saito gave me such a a hard time about diagnosing my son with autism. He told me "parents who believe their children have special needs sometimes do it for attention."
His bedside manner when dealing with energetic kids is not what you'd want from your pediatrician, someone you trust with your child's health.
He has a very condescending attitude and makes you feel uncomfortable when trying to voice any concerns.
I had to reach out to other resources just to get a diagnosis for my son because he wouldn't do it himself. Eventually he did make a referral for us to get a diagnosis after me having to go through hoops and other agencies. He wouldn't accept he had autism til I came with my own diagnosis which he wouldn't accept then say it's not acceptable because it has to be from the dr he sent the referral.
I am writing this review to save parents from this situation, it's truly heartbreaking that a pediatrician in our community (a community with a lot of special needs individuals) is so out of touch with the children they are caring for.
Mahalo for reading my review I hope it helps you decide where to send your keiki for care. read more
