We were first-time major-home-renovation homeowners when beginning the search for a company/contractor to renovate our basement, and after the first round of receiving quotes from several other places, we almost gave up. We decided to look again and received a few more quotes, and what set Miller Home Group (MHG) apart from all others was Jason's vision and ability see a layout that we could not see ourselves. I think this is the most important thing other potential clients of MHG need to hear...all of the other companies listen to our ideas and gave us a pricing... that's it...no new ideas, no excitement. Jason said, well hear me out... what if we put the TV wall here (a wall that didn't exist yet) and this angled wall here (another non-existent wall) to separate the gym from the living space... and before we knew it our space was maximized and it now feels like we have a luxury "five-star hotel" in our basement and we can't believe it is in our home. Jason's vision, alone, is a value no other company is offering. We began with the design phase in late February/early April and wrapped up as scheduled in mid/late August just in time for football season (for our seven-tv wall). From the beginning of construction in June, to the completion in August, we were excited to come home every night to see the progress. As expected in home renovation projects, there were delays, updates, issues and changes along the way, but Johnny (Jonathan), our project manager, was always communicating with us. Between Jason and Johnny, we could not have been happier with the line of communication, especially as we began to see the space unfold and decided to add-in new things to the project on the fly. From the design phase to the final walkthrough, we welcomed the Miller Home Group family into our home and could not be happier with the results. We cannot thank them enough.
