UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW ABOUT CABINET CONTRUCTION:…read more Misleading Sales Information - Not All Wood as Promised I was specifically told by the salesperson that CNC Cabinetry cabinets were all wood. Based on that assurance, I chose the Park Avenue Ocean model. After delivery and installation, I discovered the cabinet doors are not all wood as represented. This is incredibly disappointing and misleading. I feel deceived--had I known the truth, I would have made a different choice. If accurate material details are important to you, be very cautious and verify everything in writing before purchasing. I really didn't want to write a negative review, but 309 Home Design Kitchen and Bath left me no choice. I purchased a CNC Cabinetry 24" Vanity Base, a 12" Drawer Base, a mirror, a medicine cabinet, hardware, and a vanity top. From the beginning, there was little to no assistance in making sure I was ordering the correct items. I had to make key decisions without any expert guidance, which led to multiple issues. The medicine cabinet, which I requested to be 5" deep including the door--as I was told I could request a custom depth instead of the one on display (which was too deep)--ended up with shelves (only got two for a 30" cabinet which should have gotten at least 3) that are only 2.25 inches deep. That's too shallow to be functional, especially when the industry standard for medicine cabinet shelves is 3 inches. When I raised the issue, the owner basically told me I'm stuck with it because that's the measurement I gave them--without acknowledging that a little advice or a simple warning would have prevented this mistake. I also purchased what I thought was a standard-size mirror, but it appears to have been custom-cut and arrived unfinished, with areas missing paint on cut edges. Very unprofessional! While the vanity top fit is fine, I received no help in determining where the sink should be placed. My husband and I had to figure out the off-center sink placement ourselves--something I expected a kitchen and bath dealer to assist with. The cabinet door color does not match the vanity bases or the medicine cabinet, creating a mismatched and unprofessional look. And the drawers were all installed crooked. Luckily, my contractor was able to adjust them, but it took time, which I had to pay for his extra time. This is probably because the cabinets are assembled by 309 Home Design and were not properly inspected before shipping. Also, their prices are not wholesale prices!! And the hardware? That was the last straw. The door pulls are far too large for the cabinets, and the drawers need knobs instead--pulls simply do not work. I called about yesterday, but after several conversations about various issues, the owner seems like he will not respond to me. Now I understand why--my receipt states the hardware is a custom order and non-returnable. Yet another reason I should have been advised that my selection would not fit properly. Since the cabinets are under warranty, I'm reaching out to the cabinet manufacturer about the color mismatch between the cabinet bases and the doors. But overall, this experience has been frustrating, disappointing, and completely avoidable if they had just offered some basic support and follow-through. I will not be returning to 309 Home Design Kitchen and Bath, and I cannot recommend them. Don't be fooled by the quick turnaround if you need cabinets in a hurry--it's not worth the time, money, or aggravation. Go to Home Depot instead. I purchased really nice kitchen cabinets from them over 20 years ago with great service, and they were perfect--and still look great today!

My Wife and I rarely right reviews but our experience with Steve and 309 Home Design has been soooo…read morehorrible that we felt we need to let others know what has happened to our family. We paid nearly $3000 for a simple 72" bathroom vanity, countertop and hardware. We placed our order mid February and paid in full with a promise of delivery within 7-10 days. Two months later, we finally received the cabinets and countertop but WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR HARDWARE. Steve had every "back order" excuse in the book but was at least responding to texts and calls. Albeit many days later each time. For well over a week now, he has totally stopped responding at all regarding our hardware. My family loves to support small family run businesses but we will NEVER do business with this company again. Please avoid this type of horrible service. Sincerely, Jim

Flooring is a big expense. You want to use a company who will meet your needs and provide you with…read moregood service. I recently hired Bergey to install hardwood flooring in my townhome. Good points: The showroom staff was helpful and polite. The showroom is open on select evenings and Saturdays which was convenient. There were multiple hardwood flooring brands available on display making it easier to find the perfect color and style for my project. Scheduling a quote for the project was easy. A person visited my home within a week of me asking for the quote. The quote was available in a reasonable amount of time after the house was measured. The price quoted to me was comparable to other flooring companies I had researched. Financing was available through Wells Fargo bank. The process to get the financing was simple and only required me to fill out a short form. Bergey did the rest of the paperwork for the loan and then ordered the flooring once the money had been approved by the bank. The installers were knowledgeable, efficient, and respectful of my property and belongings. They were respectful of my neighbors waiting until 8am to begin their work which limited the amount of disturbance to others. Not so good points: Although the entire process was seamless, I felt like I did not always know what was happening at any given time. It would have been nice to have a bit more communication between Bergey and myself. At times, I needed to chase for information. In my opinion, I should not have to chase for information. Bergey should have provided the information more readily instead of assuming I knew what was going on at any given stage of the project. I highly recommend using A.W. Bergey for your flooring install. I am very pleased with my new floors and the overall experience working with this company.

There were no surprises from the first estimate to finished product. They worked with me on timing as I had other work being done, and they were honest about the waiting time for the order to come in. I highly recommend this company and will use them again for flooring in other rooms. Honest and hardworking.
