That's how consignment works, so I'm not sure why folks are complaining about not getting much for their consigned items. If no one wants it, it takes time and discounts to move it off the floor. If it doesn't sell, I've taken things back and sold myself on FB marketplace. I just don't like doing that for everything. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and honest if they don't think they'll be able to sell something for you.

I was greeted very politely by a sweet young girl when I entered the store. However, another more mature lady came by me while I was shopping and just seemed like she was eyeing me up and down and suggesting I didn't belong there. (I was in my work clothes.) She also checked me out when I was done shopping and gave me that same impression. If I hadn't been here before, I would've just walked out. It's a shame that I was treated like this because I wasn't dressed to the nines.

I did not complain or contact anyone to voice my complaint, since it was a gift. The Comeaux family who owns and operates AFD can't be blamed for it. It must've happened during transportation and went unnoticed. I don't know what it sold for but I got it for free and delivered. I use it regularly and appreciate the gift. Maybe it was discounted and you don't look a gift horse in the mouth. I know the Comeaux's and they're good Christians and very honest people. I know they'd extend a hand to me if I asked them to. Most people only use online sites to complain but in this case I have no complaints with AFD. Disclaimer: I'm not related to the Comeaux's or had any contact with them. It's totally unsolicited!

I love Redoux, as I can always find something unique to buy for myself or as a gift. Most gifts…read morethat I give come from this store. Lately I have found that the two ladies who work there are less than helpful or friendly. They act like you are bothering them. Also, Redoux always did free wrapping for you in a white bag with some tissue paper, nothing fancy. Now they charge 2.50 per gift. I totally understand that with the cost of supplies. I asked the lady with gray hair at the register if I could at least get the Redoux sticker to put on my own white gift bag and she told me it would be 2.50 for the small sticker. I explained I liked for the person to know that the store is wonderful so it might encourage them to shop there. I wasn't looking for a freebie but a way to advertise their business. Oh well, I will continue to shop there to support local, but the customer service could use some improvement.

Just got off the phone with the owner of this establishment. Who was extreamly rude and…read moreargumentative with me accused me of lying to him about an experience my husband had in his store when we went in to check on a piece we sold with them. I dont reccommend doing business with this place. As a customer I was trying to explain my experience with him so he wouldnt have other customers feeling this way too moving forward and he could have a discussion with the employee who made us feel this way so it wouldnt happend again and effect his business. We are also small business owners and try to be there for one another in our community and if i had this type of thing going on in my business i would want to know about it. From the start of the call i wasnt even able to finish explaining what happend when he jumped in and was very defensive from the start . With good customer service you should always hear your custmers out and give them an opportunity to share with you what happend. Basically we had a piece we were told could be marked at a certian price but when we got there were told it needed to be marked down even bc it wasnt going to sell fast. So we trusted them and went with it. The item sold in 3 days. Which was great and we didn't think much of it. When my husband went back to the store a few weeks later to see if it had sold yet he was told by an employee it had sold in the first 3 days and my husband was like wow that's great we were told we needed to mark down the price bc it wasnt gonna sell fast and the employee told my husband oh yeah she does that for everyone i know exactly what employee your talking about. So we felt a little taken advantage of but still were like ok whatever. Well yesterday i sent them another piece and the exact same cut and paste email response was sent to me but just changed up a little bit with the details of the piece. In that moment i felt very taken advantage of. So i asked a manager to call me so i could share with them how we were feeling. I didn't have to do this. I could have just told everyone don't go there they are scamming people make a negative review at that point. But like i said i wanted to let them know what happend what or experience was and what we were feeling so he could look further into it and make sure no one else would feel that way in the future. But i was attacked spoken to rudely and accused of lying to by the owner. Which was just further confirmation to me this is not a place you want to do business with. Great customer service goes a really long way! All he had to do was listen to how i felt listen to what happend and then say I'm so sorry you had that experience in going to make sure this doesn't again. I won't ever shop at reccommend or use this esestablishment again and ill make sure to never reccommend them to anyone. Def use wisdom and discernment before taking your special pieces here.

Decided to stop in as the models were stylishly ornamented through the glass window and invited me in with the glowing colors. The clothes were trendy and very classy. I noticed really nice accessories as well. However, the prices were very expensive. I purchased a nice beaded bracelet that I will use for daily meditating my value in Christ. Check a sista out!
